I have been listening to this at least once a day since I first discovered it. My 88 year old Dad has just gone into palliative care, and I have chosen this as one of his funeral songs. My Dad is not worried, and ready to go home - July 2023.
My Momma asked ONLY one thing, she asked that this song be played as she left her earthly body. I did play, and it was THIS . Mr. Dixon and all the saints sang my Mom home to see her Father!
Saw the Gaither's show in San Antonio around 2004. Jesse did this song dancing and prancing around the Spurs arena. I was younger then and didn't know the effort it took for him to do what he did. Amazing.

Growing up on listening to gospel music, brings back a lot of memories, and I start crying, cause my grandparents, and my mom, I miss them dearly. But one day, I will see them again. I can't wait for the reunion. My son has started listening to gospel music, since he was a baby, and he'll be 13 this year.

I am listening to Jesse right now June 2024. I saw him in person years ago at a church in DC but don't remember him singing, now as I listen to him I wonder why I did not follow his singing. I just love his singing. Usually watch the Gaither church in the morning.
It’s the middle of May, 2021, & I’m still listening & really liking to listen to Jessy Dixon & all the other Gaither singers. Sorry to learn that Mr. Dixon has gone on to his Heavenly Home to sing & praise our Lord & Savior.

I sure miss Jessy. One of my fav gospel singers. No doubt about it, Jessy was touched by the Holy Spirit. He always showed how much hr believed every word he was singing. I can just see Jessy singing in heaven. RIP, Jessy. Can't wait to see & hear your beautiful voice in heaven!!
I listen to this song over and over again and it still sounds new to my ears. Never been this homesick before.
I never get tired of listening to anything connected to Gaither music. I live in Brighton (England), but I am a Scot. I haven't yet heard a song that I haven't liked. My favourites are Vestal and Howard Goodman, but my most favourite song is still 'Remind Me Dear Lord's sung by Terry Blackwood.
