I always replace only the screen without the frame. For me it's less work moving all the little parts over with less chance of damaging the antenna wires, and all the other components. It's also cheaper than with the frame which are not always the highest quality. But hey, to each their own.

​@@MotoAuto3 - Yeah all that glue is a lazy repairman's crap job. Do it the right way with either factory pre-cut double sided adhesive or generic strips, but don't make a mess with that gooey mess and the repair industry. If you wanna do a sh*t job, then charge half the price and don't rape customers with your mess.

If only Samsung made it that easy... I cracked the original frame in the process of removal, though it was already damaged. Ended up having to purchase a whole new screen with frame included.

​@@isaacdayt4273 - Well yeah, if the frame is already damaged then it makes sense to get the whole assembly. Unfortunately most frames are aftermarket and not the highest quality. Personally I still prefer to get the frame and screen separate and assemble it myself. Don't trust the gooey glue job of the pre-assembled ones.
