WOW. awesome. a lot of cover artists sing rap songs with a little melody line instead of just rapping. i think it sounds better when you just go for it. great instrumentation and loop skills
Vocals aren't quite like the original but don't get me wrong I loved it as it is in a sense comical due to a certain whacky imperfect quality in the flow which obviously suits the concept of the song. Likewise everything else is on point so I'm emberassed as a less than médiocre bassist since you sound better simply using a pedal. Either way, you have something going on that's just so you which is the greatest gift of all. Despite having coincidental Jamiroquai vibe. Well done man, you made it your own! I like how you bring out the jazzy chords too. :)
Totally!! The beginning guitar chords are E minor, Eb major, Eb minor, B minor. After that I add on C major, AbM7, B major, GM7. Both A major and B major should also be Major 7 chorus though. The major 7 chords are what’s in the original Spinnin’ song and the other ones were in Skee Lo’s song.
Oh shit. That’s awesome! Thank you so much man. It’s just the shapes for the rhythm section on guitar. They’re a different voicing to the ones I’m getting on the keyboard. Was this a track from your childhood too?
Yes from my childhood and then rediscovered, super fun. The chords I’m playing are Em, Eb, Ebm, Bm. The first three are just played on the bottom three strings and the last one with the bottom 4. From the bottom string up the frets played are 7-8-9, 6-8-8, 6-7-8, 7-7-7-9.
Antony Louw thanks man! I’m playing an E minor triad on the bottom 3 strings, then an Eb major triad, then Eb minor, then a B minor with the bottom 4 strings. Let me know if you need more specifics.
What a talented musician 👍 and 10/10 rapping mate
Thank you!
Great cover, Amazing !!!
WOW... this deserves so so many more views than it has
Well thank you much.
Awesome stuff dude, really love how everything up ended meshing together like that in the end, including the little scratch solo loool
Awesome!
Great job man! I liked the use of the bottle ha. Your trumpet sounded really nice too!
Home Movie thanks! I’m experimenting with the right combination of cut plastic bottles for a snare/hand clap sound.
Your snare is so plastic-y bruh

Wow that’s some talent. Btw how did u get the guitar to sound so similar to a bass when u played the bass line?
Sounds sick 🔥
Thanks! I’m using a multi-effects pedal to lower the pitch an octave.

😂😂😂😂😂😂 love it
Kyle, is there any way to speak to you about the chords?
Sure thing, I’ll tell you everything I know.
Lol, I can’t tell if that’s sarcasm.
Nope. Do you just want to know the names of them? I get a lot of people wanting to know the shapes of them on the guitar.
Oh shit. That’s awesome! Thank you so much man.

this is so sick dude
if it's not too much to ask man, what are the chords that you play at 0:43? I've been trying to figure them out for so long
Antony Louw thanks man! I’m playing an E minor triad on the bottom 3 strings, then an Eb major triad, then Eb minor, then a B minor with the bottom 4 strings. Let me know if you need more specifics.
@@kylegustafson8894 awesome man, thanks so much. had to go watch a quick lesson on triads but I figured it out now😅👍
What are the chords if you don’t mind me asking
At the start I’m playing Em, EbM, Ebm, Bm. After I have that looped I play CM, AbM7, BM, GM7. Nowadays I play the C and B as M7’s.
@@kylegustafson8894 thanks man!! The jazzy chords gave it such a cool flavor.
Step 2, create a band.
