This video is a huge part of The Warning's history. It's pandemic time. The Warning just signed with Lava. They made this video for Detour. Which was an online concert to raise money for music venues who had to close because of the pandemic. Lzzy Hale was part of Detour. I was in the chat while this song was being played and Lzzy Hale herself commented on this live. The history of The Warning has a lot of stories and this is a huge one. 👍
The entire show is (DE)TOUR - Presented by Morrison Hotel Gallery on the Rolling Live channel. ruclips.net/video/YoQqxFHSC24/видео.html It's a bit over 9 hours.
Dany pointing to the camera always cracks me up. That is the fierceness that Lzzy Hale saw in them. Pau is actually whispering the lyrics in the background.
This is the performance during the pandemic that caught Lzzy Hale's attention and made her want to take TW out on the road. This is a realy important performance for them in that regard.
This is THE definitive version of Dull Knives for me. There's something really special about such a high energy song like this being played in a small, confined space like The Warning Cave.
It was a live concert given for their Patreon supporters during the pandemic. It was amazing to be part of this piece of The Warning history live. LONG LIVE THE VILLARREAL SISTER!
It doesnt matter where they are. In front of 50, 000 people or alone in their basement. They can't NOT be rockstars!!! I am.forever filled with pride for these beautiful humans.
literally they re on stage . it for a virtual show (de tour) during the pandemy to help venues in trouble. It's with this performance lzzy hale show them and invites them in a tour together
The Wacken performance was great, but in my opinion, the Pol'and Rock concert was on another dimension. The performance, the crowd, even the promoter absolutely going crazy and egging the crowd on, was insane! DPA looked to be in shock at the absolute love the crowd in Poland was giving them and they deserved every bit of it! 🎉🎉
Whoever did the sound mix for the Wacken Livestream almost ruined it tbh. They had the backing track turned up way too high and you couldn't even hear Pau sing most of the time.
@ashlenamusic Poland also had a really cool lighting set up for each band to use. Dany said on patron yesterday that they went in thinking the lights were for the headliners but then they told them they were for all the bands.
I remember you from as far back as I found TW. 2017 Long Live The Villarreal Sisters. I hope you are in good health and get to see the girls this year. I haven’t seen Cassy Morgan’s name in a long time. How about you? ✌🏻😎
This has been my favorite version of Dull Knives for a few years now. Glad to see the reactors starting to give it the love it deserves. Dictionaries should have a link to this video under their definition of “heavy rock”, IMHO.
The Warning Cave: Atlas Rise, Kickstart My Heart, Ale singing lead(!), fan guest musicians sitting in, the emotionfest that is Rudy telling DPA they're opening for the first time for MUSE!!! 🔥🔥🔥 etc, etc
If you react to The Quarantine Concert, you will really get to know "The Cave". It's 1hr and 45min. long. Their gift to the fans because the tour was cancelled the day before they were to begin.
Hey Ashlena! De(Tour) was an all day 12 hour live stream, with Ringo Star and Slash. Hosted by Matt Pinfield and Allison Hagendorf, both of whom were also getting their first ever dose of The Warning (Both have since interviewed The Warning multiple times now). This is the first time Lzzy Hale saw them. She immediately got in the chat and said "I need to tour with these girls!" And 2 years later after lockdown, they went on two tours with her, and now again this fall. This was the first official public appearance they made, only weeks after signing with Lava. Jason Flom, CEO of Lava, introduced them, and literally said, "Three sisters from Mexico, 100M views on RUclips. The Youngest one's 14. Go to their show, and they shred like Metallica, it's out of control! No one's ever seen anything like this before. We're going to burn the whole Shit down with them!" Fun Fact: Their were so many TWA in the chat demanding more of The Warning, this was the ONLY song that they played the performance twice in the whole 12 hour festival. The second time, Matt Pinfield did a short interview with them as well.
They act like they are on stage when they play in the basement because they are playing in front of a huge wall mirror to practice their actions. Pau is whispering the lyrics, just like on the QOTMS album. I love this song one of my favorites
This is my favorite performance of DK. The DeTour virtual concert was an all day charity event to raise funds to help artists financially during the pandemic. Jason Flom, CEO of Lava Records introduced them. Halestorm also performed at the event, I think she did a collaboration cover with another artist(?). So, after seeing DPA perform, she contacted them on SM and invited them to tour with Halestorm when the pandemic lifted. They did 38 shows together along with The Pretty Reckless and Lilith Czar. I believe the DeTour concert may be on YT(?). Here is the link to the interview with Matt Penfeld and Allison Hagendorf during the DeTour concert. Also, DK was the only song to be shown twice during the broadcast, if I remember correctly. ruclips.net/video/TPZnMfnjJbs/видео.htmlsi=9eqrLM3YqVDvs8uo Also, "Come Together" by The Beatles as performed by: Lzzy Hale, Slash, Gilby Clarke, Linda Perry, Blasko, Mike Garson, and Matt Sorum. (DE) TOUR Live Stream August 15, 2020 - ruclips.net/video/m2kaQ11TKH4/видео.htmlsi=dcUmLPnZqsJqU0Zx Ale is playing a five string Spector bass gifted to her my Thomas Illgen, the same guy who gifted her two 4 string basses a couple of years earlier. One of them is the black glitter bass she played in Narcisista. Dany is playing her custom Rick Toone Spearfish guitar and wearing a "Scorpions" shirt! This was a month prior to TW going to New Jersey to record the "Error" album with David Bendeth. Also during that time, the Spector team would drive from Woodstock, NY to Clifton, NJ to personally deliver Ale's first custom Spector 5 string bass to her, "Ale's Inferno." After TW finished recording, Spector did a photo shoot with Ale: ruclips.net/video/1meCiLbk2lg/видео.htmlsi=Zy1BbZK1m2KSE2U5 And this is Spector bringing her bass to her: ruclips.net/video/lq6q5riGdbE/видео.htmlsi=8aaJ-I7uMsPge7v3 On the wall next to Ale's right shoulder there is a black poster. That was in celebration for the first 1k patrons on their Patreon platform. I was fortunate enough to make the list and still support them.
I just read all the comments looking for a mention of the Danny Wimmer crew, as that is an important factoid behind this benefit video. I was very happy to find your comment here with the mention of them, and the additional background offered up, and the related links you gave. Pinfield and Hagendorf have known and interviewed DPA many times over the years, including another earlier one, at a record store in L.A. Nice post sir!
Yeah as you know already *this* was the performance that made LZZY F'ING HALE into a fan. And seconding the other fans who said the pandemic show was a great watch. It was super fun. We were just hanging out with the girls while they rocked out in the basement. How cool is that? Best day of the lockdown for me, to be sure.
The Dany sings fans requests would be perfect for the next poll. There is a 9 minute one and a 11 minute one. Both are great, if you want links let me know
Pol and Rock Festival show is a doble edge knive.. in one hand it is probably the most epic and amazing performamce to date of DPA. I mean, it is frickintastic.. the most incredible stage ever, great sound and a sea of happy audience. But in the other hand, it spoils the way how the'll look when they reach the top, in other words, you'll know exactly how they'll look with all the bells and wistles they deserve as a main act.. and let me tell you, that taylor made dress fitted perfectly letting them shine as it supposed to be.. ohh my God.. spectacular. Whenever those times come to them, it'll be the best, I really wish that to them.
All Cave stuff is nice and special. I like a Pandemic time concert that they did for fans. In the room there was father and mother talking with them, clapping at the end of songs. I watch it like i'm one of the family.
3:11 the girls stops playing at the same time. Remains still for less than a second and then restart the song exactly at the same moment, the three of them! They are human metronomes. Impossible for a band to be tighter than this. Impossible.
@@deamonlite I know it. The girls themselves have said many times that they use to play to a click. But it's much more than that. The click is just a tool. Far more important are the thousands of rehearsing hours and what the girls calls "the sibling magic". For they have had all kind of mishaps during their ±11 years long career where they've had to play several times without a click track and despite of that, they've nailed it EVERY SINGLE TIME. Just look here, the three of them stand still as statues for a fraction of a second. That wasn't necessary. That was a flex. They where showing off! They are that good, and then some.
Totally agree that this was a perfect performance, just epic! Glad you finally got to witness it. Good point about the fact that they are only this good because of their dedication to their craft. It’s great to see all of that hard work starting to FINALLY be recognized. Thanks, Ash ❤
Yes all the Ale hair flips...she needs more room to roam funfact,😂.Their shows from THeCave was the only way they had to keep getting new people to find them with new postings to them for 2 plus years,so yes it was like they were on their own little stage.
For those of you that follow Ashlena but are not a Patreon, "I don't understand how every song is so good." Is just like your friend Kayleigh askng, "Why are they all so pretty?"
Nice Reaction! Dany cracks me up sometimes when she's playing. If you haven't checked out their Quarantine Show from The Warning Cave it is definately worth a listen and watch. After their Tour got canceled because of covid, they played this for the fans in 03/2020. They had 2 iphones and livestreamed on facebook and YT.
The video of Ale practicing with her long time bass / music instructor and friend Pablo Gonzalez Sarre. When you watch the Liceo concert he is the guy walking around behind the stage with the red shirt and backwards ball cap. He is also comes on stage after the Teatro Metropolitan concert. ruclips.net/video/1i4oFvVUJQU/видео.htmlsi=c5Mdha87u0v9tN9j
These ladies definitely do nothing half arsed! Whether it is rehearsal, live performance or just jamming, they always give it a 100% even during the early stages. Warning fan for life!⚡️⚡️
I remember watching that video on late 2020 and realizing two things: that Dull Knives is not a filler song for QOTMS and that they absolutely stand out performing in studio 🤘🏼⚡
All of the performances from the cave are so special, cant even begin to imagine the countless hours DPA have spent in this room and it shows in how relaxed they are just killing it at home. Thx Ashlena
If there were sounds like this coming out of my basement, I'd never leave, and I'd be chargin a high price for admission. Great reaction, Ash, as usual.

Just pulled in to work, and no way in hell was i going in without watching this. I've watched it a thousand times, but not for a minute, so your reaction made my day
I am completely obsessed with these ladies. This is the best band to hit the scene in at least 30 years. Do we know when this was recorded? Ale looks younger, but I can't tell if that's just because she doesn't have that much if any makeup on. I love that this is the same room where it all started, with a little 9/12/14 year old
Hasta hoy no hay ninguna banda que se escuche tan bien en vivo como The Warning ,su cortina de sonido y su presencia en el escenario son increíbles y Ale la mejor bajista de rock del 2024 calidad y precisión un fenómeno
It is even more special when you know that Dany was pointing at you! They are such an incredible mix of massive talent and amazing parenting. We are blessed to be living in The Warning years. ⚡⚡⚡
(De Tour) was a long stream! TWA was in the chat in enough force to prompt them to show the video a second time. 😁 I’m not sure I ever got to the end of the stream (watching later) but the whole section that was introduced by Jason Flom of Lava I thought was the best, most interesting part.
The interview on the PRS Guitar Japan with Dany and Kanami is really cool cuz the mutual respect these 2bands have for each other is on full display!!!!!!
Wait until you see the Pol'And"Rock gig. AFAIC, their wheels are without a doubt off the ground after that concert. Like, they've arrived. Great reaction! This is one of my favs.
Sometimes, musicians find themselves “in the pocket.” Everything aligns perfectly and the energy that is emitted is flat out so intense that not only do the musicians feel it…the energy moves right through the audience. THAT is TW…every single performance. They are SO tight on a sonic level that you don’t even need to be in the same room to become one with their energy. Dany, Pau and Ale are a force of nature. They’re an experience.
Pau is whispering the lyrics along with Dany's vocals in the verses, you can hear it a lot better in the studio version, but it makes for a pretty creepy effect
They do rehearse their stage moves and presence (I think there's a mirror on the wall facing them.) These ladies are pros, and have been for a very long time.
Triple Crown Reactions... Wow Dany's incredible Presence. Lizzie Hale adores The Warning. Why Not they ignited the crowds for her Shows..This is what she seen that amazed Her. Yep 🎉🎉 The Warning 🔥🔥🔥
Agreeing with others here the pandemic show is awesome . Between song interaction is fun to watch . . . Its about an hour long but well worth it . . . Play it and we will come . . Lol 2 vids . . Under presure here Ashlena . . Fun tho . Take care 👋🇳🇿👍💐
Este tema es un antes y un despues en mi descubrimiento de la banda,es mi TOP 1 en la historia de su discografia para mi son 3 minutos de Pure ROCK&ROLL. Lzzy Hale piensa lo mismo que yo... asi que... Cheers
Again a nice reaction. I agree very much about their talent, and the thing about this is their unforced upbringing from childhood untill now. Yes their parents decided that they should learn to play piano but from then on they more or less decided how they progressed. I have just seen a lot from the olympics where you see athletes breaking down when their parents dream crash. An example from the Danish tenisworld is Rune who has a terrible pushing mum. The Warning were at The TEDx shows two years 16 and 17 because they are searching the effects of free spirits. Guess you have seen both and seen their development in that year. Can recommend Dr. Lara Boyd from The TEDx society - start with this ruclips.net/video/LNHBMFCzznE/видео.html
Please Vote for The Warning for MTV Push Performance of the year. Vote 10 Times 20 times if you vote between, 1 and 2 EDT At once Every Day... Ends Sept 8th, 2024 🎉🎉 The Warning 🔥🔥🔥
This is Ale talking about the 4 string Spector bass that was gifted to her by Thomas Illgen. I put this in a separate comment because I was skeptical the YT AI would delete my other comment if I added something. You never know what that bot is going to do ruclips.net/video/sgMX9oPGli0/видео.htmlsi=thIIByoAT2KWzx97

SO GOOD. One of my favorite Warning performances. Always reminds of David Heretic "it's over! It's too soon! 😂
Yes, I agree! Every versions of Warning songs are worth of watching. For Dull Knives this is my go to version absolutely!
Came here to say the same.
Their pandemic concert in the cave is not only fantastic, but hilarious a must watch
Any fan of The Warning needs to watch it. Dany and her purple socks LOL.

Pau loves mouthing the words. She also loves making drum sounds with her mouth.
The most amazing thing about this performance is that it is "Three" performing as "One"! Pure Joy!

I’m not sure I ever got to the end of the stream (watching later) but the whole section that was introduced by Jason Flom of Lava I thought was the best, most interesting part.
That’s so cool. TWA is the best
Your spanish is very nice!! ❤
Happy warning wednesday. 🤘
Thank you! 😃
The interview on the PRS Guitar Japan with Dany and Kanami is really cool cuz the mutual respect these 2bands have for each other is on full display!!!!!!
Yes, and Kanami hinting of multiple songs the 2 bands are working on, has me excited for more great songs from them.

Wait until you see the Pol'And"Rock gig. AFAIC, their wheels are without a doubt off the ground after that concert. Like, they've arrived. Great reaction! This is one of my favs.
Can’t wait!
Pau is whispering the lyrics along with Dany's vocals in the verses, you can hear it a lot better in the studio version, but it makes for a pretty creepy effect
remember: practice makes perfect... especially when you practice 5+ hours a day (pretty much) every day...
So true
They do rehearse their stage moves and presence (I think there's a mirror on the wall facing them.) These ladies are pros, and have been for a very long time.
Triple Crown Reactions... Wow Dany's incredible Presence. Lizzie Hale adores The Warning. Why Not they ignited the crowds for her Shows..This is what she seen that amazed Her. Yep
🎉🎉 The Warning 🔥🔥🔥
I should have said The Warning has an unbelievable Presence. Wow.My favorite Band. 🔥 🔥 🔥......
Agreeing with others here the pandemic show is awesome . Between song interaction is fun to watch . . .
Its about an hour long but well worth it . . . Play it and we will come . . Lol

Take care 👋🇳🇿👍💐
I agree with the commenters. Their best performance of this song. One of their very best. Viva The Warning 👯♀️🇲🇽⚡️❤️
🤘
♥♥♥TW
Este tema es un antes y un despues en mi descubrimiento de la banda,es mi TOP 1 en la historia de su discografia para mi son 3 minutos de Pure ROCK&ROLL. Lzzy Hale piensa lo mismo que yo... asi que... Cheers
🤘😎❤️
🤘⚠️🤘
poland show was the best todate
This destroys Everything on KMF, live or otherwise.
I'm sure that Pau isn't mouthing or singing in verses. She is whispering it.
Interesting!
Thanks I’ll check it out!
Have you done "Runaway" from the Dakota Bar? I'd love to hear what they could do with it now.
Please Vote for The Warning for MTV Push Performance of the year. Vote 10 Times 20 times if you vote between, 1 and 2 EDT At once Every Day... Ends Sept 8th, 2024

You have come a long way in 1 year The Pol and Rock show was their best yet. Even if you can't react you have to watch it
Will do 🤘🏽
is this when Dany and Ale compared mic stand heights? Ale's was in the middle of Dany's forehead and Dany's was in the middle of Ale's throat 👀😹
Yes this is the video where Lzzy dicovered them.
So cool
👍🏻⚡⚡⚡
I watch The Wacken Open Air and PolAndRock concerts but nice a day 😂
Once a day. Where did that butt come from? 🤣 😂
The Poland show was frikken great, but it got taken down 😭
😫😫😫😫
@@ashlenamusic I can only find 1 song. The whole playlist was up, but then it said video not available in your country. 🤬
This is Ale talking about the 4 string Spector bass that was gifted to her by Thomas Illgen. I put this in a separate comment because I was skeptical the YT AI would delete my other comment if I added something. You never know what that bot is going to do

😘
Have you seen them “practicing” hysteria by muse when they were 8,11 and 13?
Nope
Ya know, we all see Pau mouthing the lyrics, but is she whispering them or is that whisper on the backing track?
Ale looks like she belongs in the Ramones with that jacket. LMAO
Hahaha
Poland is great quality. They could've played another hour and not gotten in all my favorites.
If you want something to just watch, Live At Coyote Harley Davidson or Hallowe'en Trick or Treat concert.
I heard the coolest country cover of this.. RUclips see Dave's Gear store Dull knives (cut better) tell me what you think. I like it.🌎✌️
I thought the Poland show was taken down except for a couple songs.
That is true
