Thanks for your review. It's nice to see a real review from someone who actually uses something day-to-day vs. "professional reviewers" on RUclips. I purchased an Abound SR recently and am very happy with it, but it's not without faults. It came with paint sprayed into a threaded bolt hole that had to be drilled out. The front wheel was also in need of straightening (which I had a bike shop do) and the derailleur needed adjustment. I haven't seen a "professional review" mention any of these issues. Even though they're extremely minor in the grand scheme of things, I feel that it's important for people to be aware of the sorts of issues they might expect to see. Based on your review, I went ahead and got some FlatOut for my Abound SR. I've only ridden it about 50 miles so far and haven't had a flat. Hopefully I can completely avoid them :)
I've owned an Abound since Oct. last year. The first Abound was replaced by warranty after my bike shop found a crack on the frame at the seat tube. Haven't had any issues with the replacement yet. I rode 2k miles on the first bike and just hit 3k on the second. I didn't use Tanus, but I replaced the stock tires with Schwalbe. I haven't had many punctures since swapping tires. Good luck with the next 1k! I love my Abound!
Thanks for the comment about Tannus Armour. Just had my first flat at 180 miles and you’re rights it’s not fun to move this heavy bike around. Just ordered the Tannus Armour and hope to have the same results as you!
Love your review, I'm in the market for one as well. One question I have is, is the throttle linked to the PAS setting? My current bike offers max power at the throttle regardless of what PAS setting I'm in. Is it anything like this?

Own this bike. 500 miles -- could have put more. It does what it is meant to do well. Thanks for your review!

Yes. Full throttle available no matter what drive mode.
I like this bike
Did you have any issues broken spokes on rear wheel ?
Nope. Wheels are in good shape.
