Renee, EVERY SINGLE PLACE looked just great to my eyes and to my taste buds….and I loved the showoff chef slicing beef at Don Chava - so cute and happy! I am thrilled you had a safe and wonderful time because you work SO HARD, Renee-looking after your home your family 2 dogs 5 cats 2 Junior boyfriends your vlogs your editing your vlogography (lol is that a word?) your curls your parents your fashion shopping your health etc ad infinitum. I am surprised you managed to squeeze in the PV holiday but I am very glad you did. ❣️❣️ to you & Randy.
I'm hearing the Ohio river has been contaminated from the horrible chemical burn from the train derailment. Your water source probably comes from that river. Research this, because they are not telling how bad it is. I'm hearing tons of fish dead and animals dying in several surrounding states from Ohio. Drink only bottled water for you and your dogs.
@@AidaJof I'm well Aida...I hope you are well too. I love PV...but, I have not been back for at least 27 years. It looks the same there...still a very quaint place.
My SAD news is that I cannot afford a vacay in Puerto Vallarta; My HAPPY news is that I have not gained even one ounce watching this marvellous food video. Maybe my fave menu selection is from Siam Cocina Thai - “Salmon Orange Curry” ‼️ but most likely YUM 💋
Thank you soo much for showing all your videos, I soooo enjoy them. The food looked soooo delicious, makes you feel like we are right there with you. Making my stomach growl, have a great day.
Great recommendations, Renee! How does tipping work at local restaurants in Mexico. When I have been to Europe it has not been the norm to tip. In Colombia, where I'm from, the server will ask if you want to add it to your tab and they automatically add 10%. But not sure what is customary in Mexico.
I couldn't decide, I love all the food you showed, but maybe my first pick would be Mexican Tacos. I love Sangria, but have you had a Caprioska, I suppose it depends on who makes it, but try one if not, they are delicious. 💖
My fave was the first place, tacos! That baked potato looked awesome and I love guacamole😍. Plus the workers seemed entertaining like they were having fun. You showed a nice variety, something for everyone. Thanks Renee.
We are heading to PV in October and I love the look of the condo you stay in. Would you mind sharing how you book it and any contact info you have? Thanks so much. Love your channel!
Hi Lori! The condo we rent is in Conchas Chinas with is south of the Romantic Zone in PV. The building is called The Orchid...and all units are privately owned. You can search around online for owners who are renting out their units. Hope that helps!
It was awesome running into you and your husband in Puerto Vallarta last week. Wish we had a little time to chat but you were just about to get into an Uber. We ate at several of the restaurants that you recommended. Loved the food and loved the city!
Hey there! It was so great to meet you! Wish we could have chatted longer too....maybe next time I'm in PV we'll run into each other again. So glad you loved my favorite restaurants and PV itself. It's a great city ☀️
yes....I always stay in the Romantic Zone. I live the vibe of this area with it's local restaurants. There are no big chain restaurants or hotels. Basically in the marina/airport area it looks like you could be anywhere in the world because it's so commercialized. Leaving that area and going to the Romantic Zone puts you in a true local community.
Wife and I went to Frankie’s last night. We split pizza and lasagna. Both were really good. We’re hitting Don Chava tonight. Thanks for the suggestion. Edit: Ok. Just got back from Don Chava and Las Gueras. IMO: Las Gueras was better and it wasn’t close. At Don Chava’s had the guac (needed lime which I added but was good). A pastor taco and a mini pastor tostada aka volcan. Super salty and almost no pineapple. Fish taco and the pork chop taco were ok. Las Gueras had a pastor and a carne with bean taco. Both were pretty good. Moist and flavorful.
Oh yay!! I love Frankies! I always get the caesar salad and eggplant parmesan. Delish! And oooooo boy Don Chava! I can't wait to be back there this winter. Have fun!
Although everything look good...my favorite would be the tacos!! I've heard of potato tacos but never have tried them (I'm a ground beef taco lover! LOL). A Food Tour sounds fabulous! Watching your video made me sssooo hungry! 😁 Looks like you guy's had a wonderful vacation Renée! Happy to see you home safely.☺
Hi Renee, I have watched this video about 3 times and even shared it with one of my friends who loved your video and the foods you showed from the places you ate. Each time I'd be salivating so much that I'd forget to comment. Lovely video and definitely if I go to PV, I will take your recommendations ... heck, I want to leave now for PV. Thank you so very much, girl you are getting so good at your videos. Take care and I am looking forward to videos with Maxxie & Pollux💖💞💖
Welcome home. I know that the pups must have been out of their minds with joy to see and snuggle with you. Food tour was good. If you ever have an opportunity to visit DF (Mexico City), you will find that it is also a culinary wonderland. I'm curious whether you and Randy have ever studied any Spanish? Leigh
Looks like some great spots! I will check them out on my next trip to PV in April. Have you tried Barcelona Tapas? It’s in Centro and it’s my favourite!
Oh my goodness here I'am eating a salad and your showing all the food I love. It looks so good. Thank you so much for showing us all this . Glad y'all had fun and you got such nice tans. If I ever get to go I will keep in mind all these places to eat, though I will have to grow another stomach. I would want to try everything.
Is it safe to drink the Agua Fresca or hibiscus tea at the farmer’s market? I saw the video about not drinking the water so I’m wondering if those are ok. Thanks
Renee, on your recommendation we went to Don Chavo tonight. Baked potato and 4 tacos. 2 margaritas and I’m in bed at 9:00pm!!! Great food!!! Thank you! I think my fav was the Al pastor. Handsome hubs liked the pork chop.
The guacamole is to die for!! I love avocados and guacamole....and I eat it at home all the time. But when I'm in PV and realize how much better the avocados are there...I have to stuff myself with them! They are such much better when in Mexico and fresh!! They are soooo creamy 🥑
Welcome back! Las Guerras! I love how you pronounce it! And yes! Tortas are the best. I grew up with them. CHORROS! Love! Love them! Now I want to go to Puerto Vallarta! I was born two ours away from there but raised in Baja California Norte. Happy Valentines Day ever! 💝 🌹
It took me 3 years to be able to pronounce Las Gueras correctly! It's a hard one for me because of my southern accent 🤣. But it's one of my favorite taco places so I had to get it right!!
Wonderful delightful showing of your food salivating delish menu selection fav's .... thanks Renee, got my food appetite appeal a roaring for the day! 😋😉
Mmm 😋 my mouth is watering, will definitely try some of these recommendations on my next trip to P.V. On a side note, your makeup looks lovely, could you share your ‘vacation’ makeup tips?
Oh wow....thanks!! Honestly when I'm on vacation and have a great tan, I wear minimal makeup. A smidge of blush, mascara, and lipgloss...that's basically it. I'm just happy and relaxed...and it shows on my face 💕
You certainly know how to enjoy a fantastic holiday rennee. It's such a super area. It's enviable, your activities. The menus are mouth watering too. Amazing and I coukd always die for the cocktails. I was so thirsty for that orange coloured one in the last photo. What was in it. You kerp nice and slim too
Ooooo the food in PV is so good! I could just go on and on about it....always fresh, always yummy. What placed looked good to you?

So very true. I can still get in my clothes.

Pronounced Las WED-ahs, not Las WERE-ahs. 😊
Sounds like you had a great time Renee the food sounds fabulous 👌
I know Mexican food can be heavy on beef and chicken. But in order to prevent or reverse heart disease, a whole-food-plant-based diet is best.
I live love the brown mexican dishes your food was in. i winder where in USA we can buy those
I LOVE ITALIAN THEMED RESTAURANT. IN MEXICO !!
You had me at "the most delicious vacation" . . .😂😂😂😂😂
LOL....and it's so true! PV has the BEST FOOD!
Renee can you also recommend some good hotels to stay near the romantic zone
Thanks for sharing your story with us 💎

Thanks a lot for the suggestions. It was cool to have recommendations rather than walking around guessing where to go.
It sounds lovely! I wish I could travel to those places. I’m single and 50 so scared to go by myself. I’ve only been to Tennessee by myself.
Grab a girlfriend and go for it!! You will be so glad you ventured out.
Find a friend or family member to go with!
