Nice review mate, looks like a very comfortable cabin
How was the airport so quiet? Like in the Covid lockdown almost! By the way your ever hospitable REX scuttled my holidays- cancelled flight I planned meticulously and not only will make me get up at 4:30am but make my wait in Sydney on Anzac day for 7 hours! I will never fly Rex again. rather drive
Not sure, maybe because it was a Sunday evening?
Sad and annoying! A brand new aircraft and they still haven't provided inflight entertainment... Not good VA considering you want people to sit on these planes for sometimes 6+ hours, expect people to bring their own entertainment and still at a premium price (yes the food is also below average). Australia needs more and better competitors in this market
Forget IFE, Virgin doesn't carry any sugar alternatives! I complained but all they said it there are items to buy!
Well VA has returned to their VB roots as 'hybrid' Low Cost airline, downsizing from their former 'Full Service' status of the pre-covid era. The only things retained by the Private Equity run VA is the Recliner J class, Domestic J lounges and the FF program, otherwise it's basically a LCC.
I do agree we need another full service airline
