    Fantastic review! I was researching backpack sprayers, and saw this product at the top of numerous best of lists! This solidified it for me. Thanks for the information!

    I really enjoyed watching your video! I have bought this same sprayer last year and finally got around to trying to use it this year. I barely remember putting it together but assume that I have it together the right way. Mine came with a black plastic wand and a metal wand that I assume is the stainless steel wand. I haven't yet tried using the plastic wand but sprayed one time with the metal wand (one tank full). When I went to use it a second time, it wouldn't spray so I thought I'd switch nozzles to see if that would make a difference. I don't know if I inadvertently took a part off the metal wand that wasn't supposed to come off or what happened but when I went to spray with another nozzle, the nozzle blew right off the end of the wand and so as it is I don't see any way I can use the sprayer. I don't understand how any of the nozzles is going to stay on the end of the metal wand if the wand isn't threaded. I guess I'll have to all the company to find out how to get it to work. I like the idea of not having to pump a sprayer but as it is now the sprayer is pretty much useless to me and it's too awkward to be holding the nozzle onto the end of the wand while I'm spraying. It sounds like you're having better luck with your sprayer than I am with mine. Also, I wish that they would label what all those plastic pieces are that are included with the sprayer....gasket, washer whatever. Not all of us are familiar with pieces such as these.

      Great input! I had the same issue with the plastic wand. The nozzle on the plastic one is held on by some sort of compression ring and it's very bad. But my stainless steel wand is different. The nozzle does thread on. I wonder if there was a design change between mine and yours. I would say you are on the right track calling Petra. I had a great experience with their customer service and that mattered souch to me. I hope you get your sprayer going

      @@lawncarelittleguy9337 I haven't tried the plastic one yet. I headed straight for the metal one, thinking that that one would be better than the plastic wand, but the nozzles go zooming off the end of the metal wand because there's nothing to hold the nozzle onto the wand that I can see. I don't know if I'm misunderstanding how it's put together or what but I think that the metal wand itself should be threaded to hold the nozzles onto it. I just don't get it, so I will call the company.

      @@yomamab2002 itseems odd unless they changed the design of the metal wand. If you would like me to take a look, maybe you could send me a picture of where is popping off from? 4054730979

    Good pressure, but very cheap spray want. I have had issues with leaks and drips on the wand. I plan to change to a quality spray wand. I did get a free replacement wand from Petra, but still have leaks. Petra put a lot of “Cadillac” engineering into the tank and pump, but very little engineering in the spray wand. I’m going to redesign the entire spray wand and hose to have an entire quality sprayer.

    This was a fantastic review. Hit all the bases I wanted to hear. I'm getting ready to buy a sprayer and just trying to spend money wisely. Seems there price on these has jumped significantly because this is $199.00 now. Maybe they made some upgrades.

      I think they have made some changes. Since I put this video out they came out with a 4050 I think it's called. I like what they have done withthat one. Thanks for watching!

    Hey Matt what is your best weed control for Grass?

    • @lawncarelittleguy9337
      @lawncarelittleguy9337  3 года назад

      Hey Jose! The best chemical is relative to what weeds you are trying to control. But, if I had to pick, any 3-way herbicide is usually pretty good. Something that has a broad spectrum of weeds it controls. I use trimec 992. For grassy weeds, im still experimenting a bunch.

    I just started watching your videos, I have a weed control company in south texas but recently moved from OKC. In one of your videos I heard you mention something about Oklahoma. Where are you located if you don't mind me asking?

      I beleive it. It really seems to me they had a great design but cheap manufacturing. I think if they upped the material quality with the same design, it may have been too expensive. We will see how the company adjusts and that will tell a lot about what they are ultimately trying to do

    It’s 229 on their website . Where’s this code that you got ?

      I see it now for 219.00. they were running a sale at the time a purchased it. It looks like there is a price increase on all their products. I would guess manufacturing cost has driven that increase
