just trying to see if i can rebuild this battery because i'm disabled and i'm not going to let that issue stop me. please be aware i'm doing this at my own risk.
Good luck. I have an 80v that all the cells test 3.78 - 3.83. charge indicator shows 2 lights, but it won't charge. When put in the blower it runs for 1 second then shuts off, after a brief time, it will do the same thing. I can't figure out what's going on. Hope you have some luck.
Yeah I'm not sure but I believe its the mofsets on the backplate. I think they got to hot and now a cold solder joints. Working on this rebuild and when I'm done I will test my theory. Unless someone else has a better idea.
Hello, does the BMS work if you disconnect it from the cells and reconnect it? I'm afraid it will be permanently blocked. My battery does not have enough capacity. I also want an exchange cells. Thank you for answer
No it should block anything. I have swapped the bms with others that had burnt parts on the bms and they charged and worked on tools. Im getting ready to solder the bms wires to the cells this weekend. I'll post it when I'm done whether it worked or not.
