It will run, but it wont be a fabulous experience... Solid Works/Plant 3D etc do need a dedicated GPU for sure to get the best experience 🙄

The 3450U isnt the best processor, I would go further up the scale 😀

Its just the Model Number, 3000 series is baseline, 5000 Mid, 7000 High 😀 (better build the higher up the scale you go)
3515: 1st no 3 mean it's a 3000 series, 2nd no 5 mean it's a 15 inch, 3rd no 1 mean the generation, 4th no 5 is processor (5 is amd, 0 is intel). So if you see 3420, mean 14 inch, 2nd generation and using intel
