Been watching all your econ videos and find it really helpful! I am actually self-studying AS Econ now, and I feel a bit confused about the overall planning as to where to start. Do you have any tips on how to go about it ?
I've never self-taught myself anything formally but I'd recommend getting an outline for the whole course and then going through it systematically. It would probably make sense to split it into micro and macro so you're not constantly switching between the two. It may be also be worth getting a textbook and using videos and websites such as EconPlusDal, Tutor2u, EconomicsHelp to help you.

How did you revise the content other than doing practice questions? As sometimes I feel I can't answer some questions as I have gaps in my knowledge?
Lots of practice questions really was the key for me. If you feel like you have gaps in your knowledge then go to that specific chapter in the textbook and read through the explanations and examples. After this, you can do the questions at the end of the chapter to really build up your understanding and knowledge of that topic. Good luck!

I basically just built them by general reading and podcasts that I was interested in. For example I learnt quite a bit of stuff about Japan from a podcast, so I never really went about it intentionally.

It depends based on the question, but a general structure would look like this. 1. Intro: defining key terms and framing the essay 2. Point 1: introducing my first point and doing all the analysis for it (usually involves a diagram) 3. Evaluation 1: fully evaluate the first point, and try to come to a judgement 4. Point 2: similar to point 2 5. Evaluation 2: similar to point 3 6. Anything you can do to strengthen your application is definitely worth it, so I’d say it’s definitely worth it

If u want to do an economics degree u need maths a level. But in the a level itself it’s really just percentage change and some formulas.

There are some slight differences but the general principles and ideas that I cover should apply to all exam boards!
