Zig zag round kumihimo braid

In this video I show you how to braid a round kumihimo braid in a zig zag pattern. This is done using the basic spiral kumihimo braid and reversing the direction of the spiral once in a while.

Excellent video as always Mark. This may be too much but I have two requests for you to consider when you are introducing a new "style" of braiding. You may have already addressed this but I haven't seen either one addressed in prior videos: 1. It would be really nice if you could add a comment like "starting with 6 foot (or 2 meter?) lengths of cord will give you about 10 inches of braid" I know it would only be approximate and will vary based on how tight you pull the stitches.) 2. If there is a particular type of finishing knot that works best with the style you are demonstrating please mention it. Thanks again & keep making these great videos! Garrett

You should use a weight to pull the braid down the center… it makes things MUCH easier… especially when using 550 Paracord…
