I think that AD and Bam are the best bc even when the offense scores they always make them work for it. Wemby still a lil mistake prone and has bad teammates. Rudy is elite but still gets cooked by faster players. AD and Bam don’t have any real weaknesses imo
AD is definitely the best defender in the league. He's the absolute best balance between elite rim protection and versatility. Plus he's not as vulnerable to power as someone like wemby.
I love your videos, I can talk ball all day. Couple things I’d like to hear u talk about. -What Lonzo Ball was doing for Chicago and how he was growing as a player in Chicago before injury -Aj Dybantsa, Kiyan Anthony, What do you think the team is on Bryce James? -What happened with Trae Young and the Hawks after their run a couple years ago? How valuable is Trae as a player? Is the disrespected to you? -BENEDICT MATHURIN!!! And Nembhard for that matter , the pacers have a great problem ahead if they’ll have to choose between those two. -Breakdown Jayson Tatums game, I have so many critiques I think he’s only like 70% rn of what he can be. -Jabari Smith Jr Breakdown and Potential Projection -Anfernee Simons, is it all empty stats or is he the hidden star that Orlando needs? -I’d love to see what you have to say about Mark Williams too. I think dude is really good , the Hornets should be good if they can stay healthy. Also Tre Mann!!!! Yea man we got some things to discuss let’s hear it!!😂😂
Gobert has got to be the most divisive player I've ever seen. People either think he's one of the best defenders ever or literally unplayable on the defensive end, it's crazy
You didn't watch the whole video lol. The Twolves game plan vs Phoenix was to just let hm switch onto their star perimeter players and he held his own incredibly well. Easily the most underrated big man at defending the perimeter in the league.
They were hunting him to get him out of the paint where he's undeniably great. Same as an offensive player getting double teamed. Jaden McDaniel just didn't have the strength to bother Luka on the screening actions with the same effect as Dort had. Guarding Luka 1 on 1 isn't a great indicator of how good you are on defense.
Lol even Bam said defense is stopping the player from scoring the basket not just blocking shots, Bam is the best at shutting down players learned to guard Jokic better than AD or Gobert, they can’t do it. Locked him up. He’s the best on ball defender, he can guard 1 through 5. Wemby can get bullied by centers even guards blow by him.
jokic shot 56% against bam in the finals with bam as the primary defender (48 attempts, per nba dot com, you can also hand track them here thehighlow.io/video/query) which was slightly above his playoff average. your narrative is not true
@@coolwitzayy The video? You act like we all can’t watch games. Rudy took some strides as a perimeter defender, but he’s still far behind AD. And it’s also not a coincidence that he looks much better in the perimeter when he has guys like Jaden and Naz backing him. Instead ok Joe ingles. AD has no all nba caliber defenders to bail him out. When it came down to it luka fried him at the top of the key to seal a pivotal game. AD in a similar scenario locked up steph to win a pivotal game so yes massive gap
OMG, i know you like to spit out hot takes. But i can not believe you called Evan Fournier the number one defender in the league right now. Calling his on ball defense "impossible to perforate, totally air tight".. Strange take
I have absolutely loved this whole series. Keep shining Bro ⭐️ Appreciate the effort put into these vids.
@@gardenballer6619 ily
Wemby also keeps almost 75% of his blocks in play.
watching this reminded me how many bad defenders ad has to play with : dlo, reaves, rui and a 40 yr old who only tries on defense half the time
@@jourdanzero9312 the lakers and their famous “f it we have AD” roster construction strategy
Bron is still very good in the playoffs and in close games. He's not a regular season defender anymore, though.

would love to see really good in specific area/ specialists compilation video someday

And why is Bol Bol so wack😂
Kuminga Too😂😂
And cam reddish😂 how he was coming in Atlanta when he was healthy and then why things went to shit after that
Wow I was not expecting wemby to be no 1, very bold I rate it.
bold lol he didnt even try and had best block steal percentage
There's nothing bold about this take lmao

Man I was messing with the list until this video. Anthony Davis under gobert is disrespectful they were hunting gobert in the playoffs
if thats the case then tell me how gobert had the highest +/- of any wolves player during the playoffs lmao

Lu Dort is HM? Bruh, bro is #1 point of attack defender in league
great series, and thank you for not putting gobert #1 lol
Did Kawhi make the top 25? He’s still an elite defender, especially last year - it’s not just reputation
Don’t see the reasoning of Rudy over ad or even wemby if he’s more versatile then both while being in same level rim protection
@@nh_flex8922 he’s not the same level of rim protection to me, gobert far more consistent and wemby higher highs but you can make a case for it

Really don’t see the logic behind having Rudy ahead of AD. Without ad the lakers would probably be dead last defensively in the entire league
Better rim protector and decent perimeter defender still
