Dr. Erickson remains the gold standard of hypnotherapy. I would add a third part to the hypnosis and psychotherapy parts. I would add the MD part. He knew about the human body and what the parameters of therapy were. Three for the price of one.

Some years ago, before I ever heard of Dr Erickson, I tried doing something when I was trying to keep kosher (violations on Purim and my birthday) with planned violations. It worked beautifully. I never thought of doing the same with more general weight loss! I may try this once quarantine is over!
