- Enjoyed so much composing this one! It's a challenging piece. I have limited instrument libraries but still need to represent each singer. Although it's not very representative, i hope you guys enjoy it nonetheless. Dolores part is my favourite, what's yours?

I don't think we've had any bad ones, and they certainly have some individually great songs, but Encanto just feels to be extremely solid throughout.

I’ve never really listened to Disney soundtracks besides a few like Tangled and even then I only listen to a couple of songs but I’ve been playing almost all of the Encanto soundtrack on repeat since I saw the movie lol. Idk what Disney put in those songs but it worked

Being a salsa song, I didn't think an orchestral version would carry the same energy. But oh boy you didn't disappoint. This sounds not only faithful to the original energy but just BEAUTIFUL. You always knock it out of the park.

@@hastiborhani3492 my 3rd fav song is waiting on a miracle. obviously the other two i love are here. dos origuitas and we don't talk about bruno. my 4 1/2 old nephew loves we don't talk about bruno. the movie is awesome it's about family and with out magic powers it's relatable to most i think. my newer fav disney movies are tangled,moana,frozen franchise and this so far anyway. i love how unique it is and as emotional as other movie scenes are i ugly cry from dos origuitas scene. i like sound of Spanish version but i don't speak spanis and glad there is a decent English cover.

I was JUST thinking of a Madrigal Royal AU when I read your comment. You wouldn't need to change much, just make everything fancy
now that i think about it, this could be more sense to Bruno's disappearance with the family madrigal, the kingdom would portray him as an evil wizard or something.

Forget that EVERYTHING fits perfectly! I don’t know if this is recorded live or done digitally but if it is live props to the trumpets at 2:29 double tonguing damn-near the speed of light
Also the pauses after the builds are perfect.

1:10 definitely the best part of the song hands-down! Even in the original, I love the creepy and highly visual way the character represents Bruno to the audience and Mirabel. The way he uses slight pulling motions on Mirabel, symbolizing his word's influence on Mirabel's mental image of Bruno is just great and honestly everything about this song is very symbolic and excellently choreographed
0:51 is also pretty good too
This is epic in every meaning of the word. Had no clue how this song could be turned into an orchestral piece but it was done so perfectly. My favorite part was Camilo’s but the whole this was incredible

Yeah!! The first thing I thought was the soundtrack of Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright, the one in the medieval crossover. Or anything about Ace Attorney, it fits perfectly!!

The thing is I love how every part doesn’t only embody the character(s) singing and not only the fact that it’ll change instruments to portray another character singing if there’s more than one but the overall composure of each instrument in every part entirely fits the context of the part being sung! I swear my favorite example of this is Dolores how the entire part is just as low as the actual song and you hear very few rests when the main instrument is playing which perfectly broadens how her rap is, this is just beautiful!

During Isabella’s verse i realized the words “all I know are the blossoms you grow..” from “what else can I do” totally fit. So cool.
I think that was intentional. That part was made to have the same letimotif as Isabella's previous singing part in We Don't Talk About Bruno to possibly show how she's not all just pretty pink and fragrant flowers, unlike how she presents herself previously, with descending down majestically and all.
That whole part of WECID starting from Mirabels line was meant to reflect Isabelas verse from WDTAB
2:28 the shift in building up to the climax of the song is the best part it’s so dramatic
When the reason they don’t talk about Bruno is because it would literally cause the end of the universe. I rly like the base rythm at 2:10 during Dolores’ second part, the way it builds up slightly just makes me want to vibe big time

I'm in complete shock. this... this is something MINDBLOWING. I can't believe how EPIC it sounds! If Bruno was the REAL creepy-as-hell villain in the movie, THIS cover would fit PERFECTLY for his villain theme! just fricking imagine... I can't get over it. AWESOME job!
This felt like a soundtrack for a trailer!!! Especially with the isabela break from the build up, trailers do that so much. Encanto thriller action! I'd like to see a version of encanto but more intense!!

Dolores’ part sounds like something from Hamilton…the Battle Of Yorktown cellos during Mulligan’s part/choreo. I know Lin wrote both…this orchestration reminded me of that part in Hamilton

I'm not sure why I'm like "I didn't expect this" when it should be expected with an orchestral cover, but hey, I very much welcome it! You did such an amazing job with the different instruments and how they harmonize perfectly! My favorite parts in general are Dolores and Camilo, which you presented wonderfully, but I also really like how you did Isabela's part and then Dolores again and just basically to the end of the song. I can imagine this to be in a video game during a climax/epic scene, or in a score music of (hypothetical) Encanto 2 where Bruno has a big scene during a climax like having a grand vision or something. Or a musical of Encanto.
I love majestic orchestral music and this is another fantastic track to add to my favorites. Well done!

I love self-aware jokes like that.
I know that a sequel really wouldn't work for this kind of movie since it's about family issues and all of those were resolved in the movie, but I keep having this idea of the whole family going on an epic adventure utilizing their powers to overcome challenges and getting closer to each other as a family on an epic quest. It wouldn't really fit the Encanto vibe but the concept is fun to imagine.
Just thing of the party. Mirabel is the party leader, Julieta ( Mirabel's mom) is the healer, Louisa the bronze, Isabella would be defensive, Camilo would go on stealth missions, Dolores can warn of any incoming danger, and Antonio could pacify any monsters.
Can you do an version of "What Else Can i Do", please. I'd love to see it.

I had to sub when i heard this, THIS IS A MASTERPIECE. I could imagine an AU where Bruno is evil and Mirabel has been manipulated by him to be his minion after Mirabel ran away, only for them both to come back, Mirabel surprisingly has a gift now and they both get too powerful, The Madrigals don't wanna fight their own family but they might have to.
I can definitely see this being played in like an Encanto game during like a boss fight or something 👍 great work, sounds amazing
