And girls say that men only can do one thing at time .... Look at Mike, one foot on the clutch other on the brake hand on the hydraulic other hold the phone. Mike is a natural talent💪
Man you hit the jackpot having Ashtyn by your side. She is sooooooo great as a person and a pro with the equipment. Golden. Would love to see Ashtyn drive the semi.
I think Asthyn is going to have that baby in whatever piece of equipment she is in hose it out and keep on going like farm wives of the old days except they were walking behind a mule ---great video
Im one of the 20mph cart drivers 🤣 We have very soft, forgiving soils here in South Central Minnesota. We run a 9510rt, and Kinze 1300 on tracks, and they ride down the field very well. Anywhere it gets rough we slow way way down. We actually have to go that fast in some situations to keep up in 250 bu to the ac corn 😳
Thank you Mike, I have always thought the same with the auger on the cart, it's on the wrong dang side lol. Everything we do in a tractor is over the right shoulder and with the right hand, except grain carts. An Elmer's is my dream cart :)
Speaking of “Team Work” I have set a reminder on my phone to hopefully watch a video in about a month of Mike’s attempts at “Changing Soiled Diapers” 😂🧼😱🤥😷
Hey Mike, truck sounds gest! But still haven't got that windshield fixed!! lol - Just kidding - like you have time to get that done...Thanks for keeping us in the loop even though you are super busy!!
J&M makes a 2000+ bushel cart with only an out and in pivot and they just came out with the option to put the auger on both sides. You should check them out.
hey mike do you know that you can set the Fendt with the TMS that when you operate the hydraulics that the speed automatically increases the same with the PTO so that the tractor does not have to run at the set engine speed all the time. only when you need it. but it's nice that you at least have something to harvest there.
Ha ha love it Mike can't blame the auger not in the right place when you're on the trailer. And dust that's nothing when there's zero visibility driving through it that's fun.
I like the idea of grain cart unloading on the right but the driver would have to remember to fold it down when pulling up to the combine. Very expensive mistake if he/she forgot!
@@vfnt pretty good unload rate. Most grain tanks unload in about that time but Fendt tank is pretty good size and to unload in less than 90 seconds is indeed very good. No sarcasm at all!
I worked for a farmer back in the days.we had a piece of rubber hose we put on the end of the auger on the combine.it was right in the light.it made it great to see in the dark.
Glad to see your barley actually gave you a crop! Must have been a welcome change from your home farm. Also, Bentley is such a good boy, guarding the tractor all day!
Hey mike put a strip of black electrician tape on the side window of tractor where from your seat the tape follows overtop the swath in front of combine then you can unload in the go no matter how long the combine auger is. The JD combine augers are alot higher once they are all the way out but you still have to watch in uneven ground
It would be a great idea if the grain cart manufacturers, built a cart where you can choose which side that you want to unload from.!🧐! It really can't be all that difficult to swivel the unload auger. Especially if the bottom of the auger is right in the centre of the cart. LOVE THE VIDS.🥰🥰... KEEP'EM COMING.🤞🥰... RICH(UK).🥰🥰🥰.!.!.
the new BIG KINZE carts are pretty slick... a farmer dude in Iowa is customer testing unite one ... a 1400 series cart, biiiiiigggg blu beast it is!!! unloads like a hurrycane!
Hi Mike, while watching Laura Farms I noted that the Elmer Haulmaster grain cart they were demoing had the discharge chute on the right hand side which would suit you much better. And, given that Elmers is a Canadian company, you’d be supporting the locals if you could do a deal with them. Thanks for sharing your life and work with us. All the best to you and Ashton from Melbourne Downunder!🇦🇺
To your point about the bigger carts and swivel spouts, our tractor on our 2000bu Brent went down and it’s literally 2 harnesses. One harness for the scale and one for the remote that runs back to the valve block. Had it switched out in less then a half hour. The difference is that we don’t necessarily run our harnesses through the frame of the cab to make it neat with less clutter, but it also avoids making it a somewhat permanent installation. Both remote and scale can we wired with plugs that plug into the cab, no direct battery connection required.
We have a Brent cart. You just need to disengage the hydraulic when you are not needing the controls. No more problem. Yeah the spout is ridiculously over complicated. The way the grease points are setup on the main upright auger are nice. You ever hat to go inside the spout to get at the top one in the older models? Glad to see you found some bushels 👌
Hey Mike, just watched a video from Laura Farm's and they have a Elmer's grain cart that has a Rhs unloading augar. Might be worth checking out. Cheers mate. Bill Welch from Australia.
I have the Brent 1125 love it suits are “little”farm to a T. Run two S780s with 45’ headers keep up just nice with the cart. One tridem and two tandem trucks. Our 7000 acres are mostly in a block. Little info on my farm. 😂😂 Maybe I should start my own RUclips channel. 😂🤣. Have a good day Mike. Good video again!!
Farm Dog, City Dog--the story of Bentley. Bentley's city friends laughed in disbelief at his stories of riding across the wide open plains inside the cab of a Fendt combine until one day Mike shows up at the condo driving a Tractor to push snow..... There's your children's book.
It really surprises me the work ethic you two have, it’s not like you have to do this extra acreage and with Mrs M been pregnant I thought you two would be decorating the nursery not working all the houses under the sun. I hope all this extra work pays of for the two of you and you all have a very successful future.
Why not make the Gate Open/Close, Auger Open/Close, Auger Tilt Up/Down & all Auger Spout functions of the grain cart ISOBUS? Most tractors are now standard with ISOBUS harnessing and a display to program the UT so swapping tractors becomes a five minute job - Drawbar, Hydraulics, PTO, Signal Connector & ISOBUS Connector. Some tractors now include an integrated advanced joystick on the armrest that will negate the need for an auxiliary ISOBUS joystick. Just need the implement manufactures to adopt ISOBUS so simple connections between tractor and implement are created.
Just hold that shift stick forward on that sucker! It shifts better Edit: that’s where the new avalanche carts come in handy! They have a joystick with everything on it! And it only uses one port on the hydraulics
Hi Mike, third hopper on back of b-train let’s you get enough weight on back axle to load legal. I have Micheals electric openers on my grain trailer and it has a master switch in cab that you shut off going down the road, shuts all power off to gates and tarps.not saying something couldn’t go wrong, but understand why you eliminated the power gates. Mind you, technology has changed from 1994 to 2020. Have a great harvest.
That unloading auger looks way too long without that 50ft header on the combine. I will say that having it that long with a small header would be great for a new grain cart operator. It would definitely take away the stress of keeping the tractor and cart out of the combine!
Our grain cart has a little joystick that has all the controls on it so your not fiddling with the little hydraulics on the tractor just like what you have on your other grain carts
Love to have those duals and triple tyres. But in Uk it would make road work about impossible and illegal. Tracks are popular on Uk combines now but expensive same with high hp tractors.
Need the new one only requires one outlet on hydraulics and has its own remote control you run the folding slide auger end control with one hand on remote
Hi guys. Question... Can you (if you wanted to) remove the rear trailer on the twin set up, and put another trailer on instead of the hopper trailer you have on now??🤔?? Like... "Words are hard" that's something to put on a t-shirt😁👌
At least you didnt plug up the auger. 🤣 Keep your wife in the combine, she just has that "women touch". 😂

We would like to thank you for the awesome job y'all are doing... thank you for sharing your video with us...
I'm with you Mike on the graincart spout and joystick stuff, the best part is no part... it just doesn't really need all that stuff anyway
Hope all is well with you and Ashtyn and the new employee, I mean kid lol. Seriously though best of wishes to you guys, you two are the best.
There is nothing better to see than Ashtyn on control.
Actually I think Ashtyn demoted Mike for a few days.
He keeps jamming the combine!
hey mike

Pretty nice. You and the wife doing ur thing up at the other farm Enjoy the videos keep em coming
I remember the old days when the auger I used on the did not have the hydraulic swing.it was the good old muscle power
Totally agree with the joystick I don’t mind the spout but I here you about simple 👌
Unloading time from :59 to 2:21 = a minute 21 seconds….. good job Fendt!
Not a farmer or native speaker, so excuse the question. Is that fast or was that sarcastic?
@@vfnt Thats really fast, comparable combines have 2 mins + unload I think

Have you considered a J & M? I know on the extended reach series they just come with a in and out curling spout.
Hi Mike. How would you have fit the harvest in on the northern farm IF you had had a big crop on the main farm?
Easy,just keep harvesting.
Would swivel tires work on the header so that you could follow the swath better or is that even an option.
Love to have those duals and triple tyres. But in Uk it would make road work about impossible and illegal.
Tracks are popular on Uk combines now but expensive same with high hp tractors.
Mike: Why won't you take Bentley with you in the truck and the tractor cab? I know i would!!
Mike, the pto shaft is missing the guard on the auger, static machinery is the high risk for entanglement
Ya, that combine auger...is insane in length.
Who will be the first to get a telescopic auger on a combine?
Wonder if other electric shut off trailers have an isolation switch so there’s no accidental dump outs ?
That would sound more logical. Wiring in an electrical redundancy and also saving your health. Surely the dust can't be good.
Unload while talking Mike!
You have the same logo as the band Amon Amoth and the farm store fleet farm.
Sometimes you have that, that you completely be disorganized to wake up from a nap.😉
Thats an old truck.Does it ever will have to be inspected in Canada ?
Question Mike? When getting a new cart order it without the joystick and pivoting spout? Is that an option?
When you woke from you cab nap did you change back to your work clothes or are you driving the buggy with your hockey player pj's? : )
Wish they could maybe make that one go left of center and spout spin then unload On other side. Or both sides. Mabe some programing maybe move ladder
