Hope you enjoyed the video :) What do you think about this texture pack? The reason I enjoy it so much is because it does a great job retaining the vanilla feel, while also providing a sort of mystical vibe, which I also love.
Yeah Detailed texture packs aint as bad as i tought As long as they look "clean" enough and doesnt look like just a png slapped to a texture (A 16x and a bare bones texture pack user :D)
2:04 I know it's just the particles that are missing, but they really make the nether look so much better. Hence, I prefer the vanilla version because it has these floating particles.
I'm glad you keep shaders for both vanilla and with the resource pack on. Too many people make the resource pack "look better" by only using Shaders when they switch giving an unfair advantage.
every part of this texture pack is literally perfect, its design is definitely one of the best I've seen. It looks so pleasing to the eye. Im really glad you've introduce such an clean looking texture pack. Hope you keep up with these awesome edits! the vibe is truly something else.
Vanilla Plus? not really... it's pretty for sure but I wouldn't say this fits the base games style. like somethings look entirely different like the grass block.
Shader pack is called reimagined complementary. I’m in the discord and complementary is the best shader. Reimagined will be getting pbr support in next update but POM won’t be added for a while.
YES! THIS is how you do a texture pack showcase. THank you for doing comparisons and showing vanilla vs the pack in the same scenes with the same light and shaders. This looks SO good and we're going to use this pack!
Plants are good The rest looks too medieval or DnD It ruins windows too by adding tons of shape in the glass, cant see trough anymore Anyway to have just the plants ?
Love the look and feel of the texture pack. But unfortunately because some of the half-blocks and stacked half-blocks have had their visual dimensions changed, a lot of my half block building features (like halfblock ramps/stairs) look broken.
The combination of texture pack *Alacrity* with the shader *Complimentary Unbound* is really the best combination out there: 1. It looks great, and it's well suited to create a more medieval look of building. 2. It keeps the vanilla look for the most part 3. The performance is better than most shader/texture packs that offer similar quality quality. 4. It's not buggy. 5. It looks good straight out of the box, only minor adjustments are needed based on personal preferences.
This is actually now one of my personal favourite Minecraft texture packs I love it and was wandering what was the seed for the map you used in the video I really liked the desert area and the way the temple was buried in the land
Not a big fan of higher res texture packs, however I do like how a lot of things have more 3d models. Wish there was a version with lower resolution more vanilla feeling textures but keeping these 3d models.
They took away my basalt snow! Everything else was perfect before and after I saw that but I need it to be snowy and ashy when you walk outside my cathedral!
I always believed that higher res texture packs would always look worse than vanilla, and while I still prefer vanilla's feel (and 16x in general), Alacrity has proven that high res packs can be just as atmospheric and beautiful.
I love this texture pack but for some reason it cuts the slabs in half so alot of my builds look weird... i wanna use this texture pack so bad but that one thing bugs me
I liked your video. Editing and music selection was great. I wanted to appreciate the texture pack but it just isn’t for me. To me, the higher res texture packs just don’t mesh well with the… well, meshes of the game. It’s this uncanny mixture of realistic images pasted onto really simple shapes that I can’t get over. It’s like it ruins the illusion of it being made of voxels, the pixel ratio is just really important to me. 16x is just it for me. Plus I prefer more fps and high render distance so 16x has better performance going for it too.
The texture pack has a relatively low download number compared to some of the more popular ones! But title has been changed. Never was 100% about it anyways :)
You probably make the best resourcepack comparison videos, because you're the only one who shows both vanilla and altracity with shaders enabled. Usually the comparison is unfair, but you gave a fair comparison. Good Job!
Vanilla plus is a type of mod or texture pack for any game really that tries to mimic the original style of the game, but this texture pack is definitely not vanilla plus
@@whatzittooyah3244 Yes I am aware of that, I was referring to the side-by-side footage where the one says vanilla even though there is clearly a shader applied. They're probably referring to the texture pack, but I think it's a bit misleading to represent a resource pack with shaders
Hope you enjoyed the video :) What do you think about this texture pack? The reason I enjoy it so much is because it does a great job retaining the vanilla feel, while also providing a sort of mystical vibe, which I also love.
I love it so much how can I get it in my Minecraft world?
The link to the pack is in the description!
@@iambeenyt Ok thank you !
@@iambeenyt ware is it

The reason I enjoy it is it’s free 😂
Although I like textures with lesser detail, I still think this texture pack is good, I think the sea lanterns look the beet
Yeah

I was just thinking the same theing. The rest of the pack is awesome, but those nether particles really are a dealbreaker for me
Didn't pay attention to it until this comment. Thank you, that will be fixed.
@@Satellence yay :D
If it's that much of a dealbreaker it really isn't that hard to add them back

It really is a great pack! And thank you so much
I disagree, i think the candles have way too much detail going on
try Pixlli it's one of the most unique packs out there
Patrix is better imo
It’s great and all, but clearly you don’t know, what the words literally, and perfect mean.
Vanilla Plus? not really... it's pretty for sure but I wouldn't say this fits the base games style. like somethings look entirely different like the grass block.
recently installed this pack and i love it... the bee appearance freaks me out though

I love how you always find the most uniques shaders, textures and mods to really inhance the experience of the game. So thank you for sharing this 😉
You’re so welcome :)
Plants are good

It ruins windows too by adding tons of shape in the glass, cant see trough anymore
Anyway to have just the plants ?
Looks great! Maintains the Minecraft art direction while making it look just a bit more advanced. Not a fan of the yellow lava though.
i feel like some of the nether stuff could use a update
Just installed along with Voxels shaders and I am blown away.
I can agree that this is a good pack, but I would never call it "Vanilla Plus"
Looks great, but I don't like how it removes ambient particle effects from the nether.
Love the look and feel of the texture pack. But unfortunately because some of the half-blocks and stacked half-blocks have had their visual dimensions changed, a lot of my half block building features (like halfblock ramps/stairs) look broken.
Wow, that's a great showcase. Thank you so much for this video. Can I use it on my resource pack description page?
So glad you liked it! And of course :)
By the way Complementary Reimagined is on modrinth now
So you can put the modrinth link in the description

i like how it manages to look rustic and modern at the same time
This is actually now one of my personal favourite Minecraft texture packs I love it and was wandering what was the seed for the map you used in the video I really liked the desert area and the way the temple was buried in the land
Foliage looks 10/10
for my preferences, this pack seems to do plants in the over world and interior decoration the best
Not a big fan of higher res texture packs, however I do like how a lot of things have more 3d models. Wish there was a version with lower resolution more vanilla feeling textures but keeping these 3d models.
Yeah, higher res looks gross to me and I cant explain why
They took away my basalt snow! Everything else was perfect before and after I saw that but I need it to be snowy and ashy when you walk outside my cathedral!
Reminds me a lot of the old John Smith texture packs!
It's good but I would like to see it with a lower resolution, and some of the blocks to stay more true to vanilla
same, i love the pack but i've never been a fan of higher resolution texture packs
I always believed that higher res texture packs would always look worse than vanilla, and while I still prefer vanilla's feel (and 16x in general), Alacrity has proven that high res packs can be just as atmospheric and beautiful.
1:53 look like dark souls new londo ruins
Damn and it's only 32x imagine this with resolution 128x and 256x....
How long had it took you to get that quirky shot? 1:27.
I just loved it, idk why. But turtle moved perfectly in timing
Tysm now i have a good wallpaper
I like the additional detail to the models and foliage, but I tend to prefer 16x16 textures
Would be cool to combo this with something like Rethinking Voxels
This feels like minecraft with hytale's artstile
One of the most texture a texture pack has ever packed.
1:07 is that yung's better mineshafts?
yes!
@@iambeenyt lol i am such a minecraft genius
3:54 YUNG's Better Stronghold
alot of texture packs have an unreal look but this is really good
I love the part where you can cook eggs on your pc tho
I notice Terralith immediately.
Now i think you're just taking pictures of real life
Beautiful, but i'm still convinced 32x don't fit minecraft.
EYY I SPOTTED THOSE DAEDRIC RUNES
is there a chance of just adding the plants and stuff?
I love this texture pack but for some reason it cuts the slabs in half so alot of my builds look weird... i wanna use this texture pack so bad but that one thing bugs me
I love your videos on resource packs!
Imma wait till rtx 5090 is out to use this
Why a 3080 would handle this
The plants are good. Everything else is to taste.
The ice doesnt look that great but everything else is perfect
Im going to be honest, high res packs just ruin the whole vibe
What shaders are u using?
Looks dope but I wouldn't call it vanilla plus
Could u do a showcase of Misa's Realistic Pack? Rly like your style
thank you! and sure :) ill check it out!
I wanted to see what hostile mobs look like

is there one for only the flowers?
The pack looks really cool, but I wouldn't call that Vanilla Plus, there's too much going on with models and everything.
Beautiful as always :)
I don't like the sea lantern. Too different from the original. Before it would look nice anywhere, but with those cracks I would never use it again.
Is there a version without the shitty block textures?
I love this pack
Does the texture pack cost a lot of performance?
Sorry but 0:52 I cannot accept the fact that there is a circle in Minecraft
90 percent of the time i prefer vanilla actually
How do you do the comparisons in this video? Replay mod?
Yep i use the replay mod!
Gritty RPG Minecraft
My GTX 760 will explode if I even try that
i like the blocks having a 3d feel but i dont like how they made the textures try to look realistic i was never a fan of it
I love this Texturepack so much! 🥹
When i use it the tree is not good
Where are the spaceships?
reminds me of gingecast. comment reply if you remember them!
It’s alright
Circle
does it work on bedrock?
looks kinda like Hytale
does it have pbr textures?
not currently!
Just wow
Why nobody?

Hytale
this isnt vanilla plus

Looks so bad xd
been using this since i started playing a few weeks ago. i refuse to not have it in my packs
the lag this will bring
There’s surprisingly very little performance impact with this pack, even on my shitty laptop
