lol, I always watch tutorials with double speed, when hearing that high pitched voice I wanted to change the speed back to normal, when I realized, this is actually how it really sounds :D
Hi, great video! I downloaded your file and opened it in unreal but there's a lot of files and I seem to be unable to locate this animation you made. I was interested in adding it to a school project I am currently working on
Hi Luos, great job. i have a question, you allowed to download the particle system, i want to ask you what rights exactly you're giving, can i use it in a personal project that i'm going to sell in a future?
Hi Luos, i ended here after watching your Naruto Rasen shuriken video and downloaded this. But the "Luos_RadialUVDistortion" from here doesnt really work the same way your "Luos_Mask_Distorter" does. Everytime i try to replicate what you did in the rasengan video WIP 1 it just doesnt work the same way it worked for you when you did the second try at recreating the rasengan. Do you think you can give me some tips or post your .uasset for the Luos_Mask_distorter? it would help a lot!!
I am wondering: could i do the particles in another program (like maya) and then import the final thing into unreal? Isnt it better than learning unreals particle system if i am already familiar with maya? Also, could i make the materials/textures/maps in (let's say) substance designer instead of photoshop? I cant use photoshop at all and would prefer not to learn it if everything can be done with maya+substance+unreal. What's your opinion/advice? As always: Thanks for the videos and your hard work!
Get Rekt if you could, yes. but you cant. you cannot import maya/max/houdini particles into ue4 and expect it to work. with allembic it opened some new possibilities but its still limited/performance costly/ very hard to do depending on what you make.
Hmmm, i see. I thought that the substance designer "materials" were pretty light and the ue4 plugin/bridge would make things "easy". I hoped this would bring new workflows into the special effects department but i guess i was wrong. Thanks for the answer!
I expected that you meant using maya's particle system.. as thats a nono, but meshed work. You can make mesh based particles (look at how I did them elsewhere on my channel, while its 3dsmax, it works rather same in maya) I didnt reply on the substance stuff: As for substance, if you feel comfortable with it then def use that. though gimp/photoshop/whatever helps (imho) with some creative expression. Additionally, this is mostly just my personal experience, so if you find other ways or means to get the results you want, def go for it :)
which takes a shitload of time, creates a massive texture, pointcloud (or raymarching) also take quite a while to set up (and are quite expensive) and unless your boss has deep pockets would nope on having to pay you for such time wasted. I agree its an alternative way to do it, would I suggest it? only for hobby or if your boss wants to pay you for all that time wasted. At least, that has been my personal experience with clients so far. They rather have you finish an effect like this in less than 2 hours, than having to wait for a godforsaken amount of sim-render time and end up with a massive flipbook. I am not saying its a wrong approach, not at all. its still very feasible. I personally just wouldn't do it like this.
Hey dude, wanted to use this in a student project. Not really clear about the licence you realsed it under. I guess the effect is under conditions of cc0 or ccAttrib right? Can you confirm that for me? Otherwise i might have to take it out of my project before i hand it in 😅😅
Hi, very good job with particle. I really like it but I have a little problem that particle is not showing the Ring part of the particle on the mobile device (android). StartSpark and BasicDots are ok. Any suggestion to fix? Thanks
some of the textures related to the ring part are set to "mip map absolute" inside the material, if you set them to "mipmap value none" it should work on mobile. but it will result in an unavoidable tiny line. nothing I can do about that, just a limitation of mobile.
@@Luos_83 Thanks a lot for quick answer. Yeah, I've tried that and it doesn't look good but rest is nice. I will try some different kind of circle to run together with the flares. Thanks for your work, keep it up!
Sorta, you can hire me on a hourly basis. In about 1 minute the downloadable file will contain a read me note with email if you want to hire me. That said, I am currently swamped with work/clients so I might not have time right away. (unless the pay is right)

Youre awesome man. Finally thought of a game concept that makes me want to get back into programming and theres pretty much no documentation on ue4 ty
Particle effects are just amazing in this game.
I would be interested in knowing how your selfmade material functions look like inside

You should just be able to open the project and then right-click on the particle system > migrate to your project and it should work.
More awesome as legal! Love your work! In a few weeks i will buy some pieces of your work from UE Marketplace :3
Awesome! appreciated :)
This is a Wonderful Work !! Disappear Automatic

Thanks for free asset ♥️
awesome job man

So substance designer can work? That's good news, i will definitely look into that.

very very thnks
This is awseome! BTW. do you know any tutorials (that you would reccomend) that go from basics of creation ParticleSystems and Materials?
Jakub Wiśniewski not at home so it's hard to link with weird smartphone, but I have tutorials on my yt page about that kind of stuff as well.
Gonna check those out - Thanks!
Wow !! Good Reference~!! :)

Is there any way to make the ring rotate super slow? I tried to change a lot of things but it still rotate really fast. Please help.
lower the panning speed inside the material.
Hello! May I ask you to share the noise textures you showed int he video (0:34)? It would be extremely helpful!
check out my youtube channel, I gave away some of them. Im not gonna give away all of em because they are very valueble to me.
Okay, I understand. Thank you anyway.
I have downloaded it but the color is not black of the circle. How can i fix it ?
Thats barely enough information to go on. You'd either need to show me a video or a few images of the problem.
that fucking music though. oh well, nice video anyway. thank the gods for the mute button.
Can i use it on my project
yuppers!
download link will download fail halfway
works for me, works for everyone. your internet might not be really stable.
Tell please what this music is :)
vnessy with vox populi i think
Thank you very much! Great job too. That was rude of me to ask for music first and not let you know that you are great artist :)
Hey hey! appreciate it :)
What program???
hey hey, if you look closely you can see 3dsmax, photoshop, and ue4 have been used.
not work, scam.
