For anyone looking at vertical gpu mounting in the o11 air mini who found this channel (like I did before getting my bracket), in my experience he's likely correct about the thermals being worse in a vertical position for a card like this 3090 with a large shroud on the sides and not a lot of heatsink surface area exposed. In my case I have an AMD reference model RX 6950 XT and the vertical mount dropped temps by 5-7° on both hotspot and edge compared to horizontally mounted. If you have a card with a lot of exposed heatsink on the sides you might get results similar to mine, as of the RX 7000 series AMD still has a similar shroud design on their cards for this purpose, but board partner designs will vary.
Nice built, love the white scheme. I have the same case in black and I absolutely love it. I run my Strix 3090 OC and 5950X all on air in horizontal orientation. GPU never goes pass 62C and CPU (Tctl/Tdie) which is the hottest point on die package 70C MAX during 4/8K video rendering.
The only thing I would change is the AIO fan orientation. It appears you are pulling through the AIO and into the case. Which in itself will raise inside temps in the case. I would have put a push configuration from the inside of the case and pushed that heat out through the vents to the outside and not to the inside of the case. Your already drawing air into the case from the bottom. That AIO is essentially a radiator. You're going to push cooler air through those vents to cool off your cooler liquid temps and in turn your CPU. Which means, that the air coming on the other side of the AIO vents will be heated from the air exchange happening through the vents themselves. You're bringing that heat from the vents into your case.
Check out Christopher Flannigans temps bench with all possible setups. Best thermals are 240mm AIO side exhaust or 280mm front Push. Need to fill the fan slots though to avoid hotspots. I’d advice everyone to go with 2x140mm rather than 3x120mm in the top. Put them as far to the rear of the case as possible. With 3x120mm in the top the fresh intake will have a harder time flowing through the case over the components. I’ve done almost all possible fan setups myself and now I’m pleased with the 240mm side exhaust with the radiator mounted on side of the psu chamber.
Actually I haven't noticed any dust accumulation on it yet, which is weird. The H510 elite was in the same spot and would normally gather some dust within a week or so, but not this one. When I removed the black AIO it didn't had any build up either.
@@diypcjapan9617 Thanks for your answer, I love the design of the case, but that worried me a little about the dust and I couldn't find any information about it. How long have you had it? By the way, your pc looks amazing!!!!
@@victorchay12 best way to keep your case and internal clean is by putting it on the desk, not on the floor. another way is to avoid using floor carpet as it tends to collect dust. frequent vacuuming, the desk, and floors and certain objects in the room once a week also keep the dust at bay. also do make sure the air flow of case is ideal, equal number of intake and exhaust fans. make sure all intake fans have dust filter on.
The first discrete GPU I ever bought and could afford was an Nvdia MX440 back in 2002. Ever since then I wasn't able to buy the top model until the 2080ti came out. It's not easy for me buying this stuff now, but somehow I can afford it, at least for the time being. Maybe you will too in the future.
The way you are changing things every few days, I just want to warn you that once you get married you can't just change your partner when you change your mind in a few days.
The 3090 is 320mm long, I think with the front rad it will take 330mm max. Without the front rad it could fit a 360mm. Just now I was able to order an MSI 4090 Suprim liquid, so I don't need to worry about the card lenght.
yeah i'm pretty sold on this case but i like the look of the dynamic better but airflow is more important to me. Great job, super clean
awesome build dude!!! thanks for the video going over the fan setup and temps

2 nzxt fan to bottom and thats the perfect case
Bro, this build, amazing, I'm inspired by your build, I will probably do it the same as yours.
Power cable should go through the rubber gromet not through the back of the case
Hello, if the MB is ATX what models are those bottom fan ? On Lian li site they said 20mm thickness for 140mm fan. Thanks you
Amazing.
beautiful build and are those nzxt fans?
Yes!
you need lianli fans
Are you a Lian li fan?
What song is playing? It is Epic!
Lolz
i got my mini air black yesterday, i waited 2 months after ordering (problems with logistics in my country) what kind of cooler do you use back side?
The AIO is a Kraken Z63 280mm.
How did you put two fans down?
Vertical GPU Bracket is it included with the case? or I need to buy ? 0:18
No, you have to purchase it separately.
Loosk soo great dude, im going to buy it but I am concerned that it does not have dust filters... what about it?? Does it get a lot of dust? TnkU

@@johndanaway That is the point! The fans do not have dust filters! jaja
And yes, it would go on top of the desk.
The front mesh panel is the dust filter itself so it doesn’t need one
man I can't decide if I want black or the silver. ahh!
how is the acoustics ?
Hi, have you think to put two push fans in the side?
Yeah it currently has fans placed on the side
hi there, can u list the spec of your item
Can this still be a silent case when using silent fans? Since it's full of holes...?
Yes I think it can.
what model of white cables do you use for the power supply?
They're just some cheap ones I've got from Amazon, I don't even remember the name.
@@diypcjapan9617 thanks for the answer 😎
hey is it still possible to install 2 more fans next to the motherboard?
Yes!
this is atx mobo?
Yes
How are your temps compared to the h510 elite?
It's a lot better than the NZXT
I don't get why you upgrade from i7 10700k to i9 11900k it's not some big upgrade.
All the cool kids in my block have 11900Ks
big upgrade or not. i9 is still better than i7. let the man feel good about what his doing.
hi, what are those 140 fans at the bottom? thanks
Those were the ones that came included with the case and mounted at the front.

hi ! power size is sfx or normal (regular ?
sfx

are there rbg fans at the top
No, it used to have a led strip at the top back then.
