i really wanted Kat and Marcus to be together. You can litteraly see how much Marcus cared for Kat. But love the video, great editing!
I get why you’d like them together, but their relationship was one sided, as well as toxic. She was interested in Marcus because it was convenient to her situation at the time, and he helped her because he wanted her. I think she’s better with Justin, cause they vibe on a deeper level. Justin also knows all of her demons and chose her, despite her being a mess at a certain point. It’s also what makes more sense plot-wise, since Kat and Justin are the protagonists. I think Marcus deserved more than what Kat could give him, someone that wanted to be with him because they genuinely want him.
Marcus liked her but it was one sided as Kat seemed more than a little bit uncomfortable and awkward with him in short the Marcus and Kat relationship was more than a little forced. But with Justin you can see that he’s loved her since he realised that she wasn’t a just another one stand a year ago . Plus if you watch the Marcus and Kat scenes Marcus gets more and more angry at her when she misses their dates. Were as with Justin he keeps trying. Also when Alora shows up it comes clear that Marcus’s feelings for Kat are not consistent as he bounces back and forth between Kat and the other girl.
But with Justin you see that while he is a bit of a womaniser . He knows the real deal when he finds it. Plus Justin is more hurt and disappointed than angry when she doesn’t show up to his party . Also if you watch the Scene where Justin and Marcus are together in jail and Marcus says that he’s never see Kat behave that way he looks terrified and is more worried about himself.while Justin more is concerned ,confused and worried about Kat and the first thing he does when the police let him go is go and check on Kat.
