Mr Woo, the people who get to learn from you IRL are really lucky... I am a High school student who loves mathematics and you are one of my best teachers. Definitely Better than most school teachers lol.
@RayLand-zv8lt I NEVER SAID THAT ANYBODY WAS!!! I WAS JUST ASKING--- HOW IS THIS USEFUL IN EVERYDAY LIFE??? ALGEBRA IS ONE OF THE MOST USELESS AND WORTHLESS THINGS THAT IS EVER TAUGHT IN HIGH SCHOOL AND IT IS THE REASON THAT I ALMOST DIDN'T GRADUATE FROM HIGH SCHOOL!!!! THAT IS WHY I HAVE SUCH A NEGATIVE OPINION OF IT!!!!!
@@jamessimmons7480 This particular topic of algebra in 3 dimensions, is useful for the people who program 3D modeling software. Behind the scenes of the program, the formulas of linear algebra are used for figuring out where each element is, in the scene being modeled, so that it can project it onto the 2D computer screen for you to see, and so it can keep track of how each drawing element interacts with all the others. The software uses ray tracing, where it calculates the path of virtual rays of light, and needs to determine what objects are in its path, as well as how and where the ray needs to change directions, due to reflection and refraction from the objects within the scene. By knowing linear algebra, the people who write the software are able to make it more computationally efficient, to improve the user experience.
@@jamessimmons7480 Dude, your aim is bad. Your problem isn't with algebra, there's lots of stuff you don't need to know that doesn't bother you at all. Do you care how many grains of sand there are on the closest beach? No you don't and as long as it isn't required it won't bother you. The problem isn't algebra, the problem is it being mandatory. So your problem is with high school, not with algebra. Now leave the nice math fans alone and let them enjoy their hobby. Your yelling has made you unwelcome here.
sir, you are like the only teacher that actually takes through things and things actually make sense. thx

Nobody’s forcing you to watch the video.
