I literally just do not comprehend the audacity of human beings mistreating any animal no matter what kind it is.
You can see the change in him & how much he appreciated the love he received & gave it right back.
He’s grown accustomed to you and your touch. He loves to be touched and petted. Bradley is one happy rooster. And he shows it.
Roosters are actually loyal as much as dogs. They symbolize courage and bravery. Especially, fearless. They would pick on someone bigger than it's size. Better not annoying or teasing them. They would keep following you t'il they out

As a farm girl, some of my best friends have been chickens. The summer between 3rd and 4th grade I hatched 3 chicks in my bed room. They slept with me until school started that fall. When you tell ppl they have as much personality as their dog or cat they think you're nuts.

I used to have a pet hen and she was very intelligent. She would know the exact time I’d return from school and would start making noises. She also watched cartoons with me while sitting in my lap.

I love Roosters, so glad you got to highlight him here. I wish everyone knew how cool and smart and affectionate chickens are. I help on a farm sanctuary and people are always surprised to hear how intelligent they are because so many of us learned that chickens aren't smart. The chickens all know me when I get there and love to hang out and "help" with projects. Thanks for doing what you do. xo

Birds can perceived whether or not they are like and wanted, if they receive lesser treatment than other animals, and whether they are made to feel a sense of flock.
And Bradley realized, immediately, that Audrey was offering that to him - a flock and a home. And, he accepted. ❤

Absolutely Super Cool. We have 26 chickens 4 of which are roasters and 2 muscovy ducks and a cat. Most of them are rescued. They our children and are an absolute love to have

Wow. You learn so much from these dodo videos. I would have never ever thought a Rooster would cuddle or even get attached to a human being. Just goes to show you that all living beings have a spirit and a soul that respond to love and kindness. The Native Indian culture certainly has understood this and we should’ve earned from them. Such a wise and beautiful culture and a total disgrace how they have been treated. You never hear them screaming for rights and frankly they’re the most deserving of us all, that being said, we all deserve to be treated with dignity and respect no matter gender, religion , race etc etc. Peace out.

You have to block out all of the light and keep him in a quiet place to keep him from crowing too early. Mine usually start crowing between 5:30 and 6:00.

Tava uma vovozinha meio braba e marrenta, dava uns pitos nas pequenininhas. E eu devo ser pra elas tipo: a grande mãe galinha... kkkkkk elas corriam pra mim como dizendo: olha a Popó tá brava mainha! Socorro! 😂😂😂 Agora só tenho garnizés todos pequenos ,mas mesmo assim muito sapecas e divertidos. Alegria desse quintal. 💕🌈🌹 Além é claro dos 4 galinhos que cantam em coral desde a madrugada 🤣🤣🤣 Minha sorte que tenho bons vizinhos. 🙏🤗 😘

Na época do "Rocco e família", 2 de meus sobrinhos tinham 9 e 11 anos, eles gostavam muito de ajudar a cuidar dos bichinhos, tinham um amor muito grande por eles, até paçoca dividiam com os amigos emplumados😋, pois o Rocco pegou gosto a comer isso, aliás acho que era o "petisco" favorito dele.
Quem tem esses bichinhos sabe que o galinho faz um barulho diferente, chamando pela prole para comer primeiro, né? Amávamos quando ele fazia isso... tão fofo... outra coisa de que me recordo é que o quintal estava sempre esburacado😂, pois as crianças gostavam de ajudar a procurar minhocas para eles🐔🐓🐤🐥❤ a propósito, que bom que a Popó chegou aos 15 sendo amada e cuidada❤nosso querido Rocco também virou estrelinha há alguns anos... mas, também, foi muito amado por nós enquanto nos agraciou com sua presença❤ah, muita saudade!!!!! Animais são maravilhas de Deus❤
