Ah bro the CR-Z is gone!! ): i totally get your decision though, and to be honest its nice to see you explain your reasons why and not just sh*t on the Z like some people like to do because they are still good cars, they just have to be used in a certain way lol. The bimmer looking kinda fresh though i won't lie, will look ace when you've tidied it up and made it your own. You should do a drive out video with it though!! even if you just cruising will be cool to see it.
Yeaaa it's gone 😓 I actually really liked the car but I'd like a manual K swapped one maybe down the line with a little more funds towards projects. Thanks man, I'm not sure what I'll do to the exterior yet. It's wrapped so I got to see what the paint is like under. I most definitely want to do some driving pov videos. It's been sitting while I do maintenance for the most part but should be solid enough here soon to beat on it.
I checked for play and the red dust that accumulates after its trashed but both checked out. I was going to make it rwd to see if the problem went away with xdelete just did not get around to it
@J Snake when I lived in socal there was a abundance of bmw techs. Where I'm at now I'd have to drive 2 hours to a good one. I can see why they charge so much but godamn Rip off like you said!
Great video bro, Im having a strange clunk feeling when im rolling on and off light throttle. Replaced literally everything except these. Noise is coming from the front. Were you having the same symptoms when you say strange vibration ?
@naders5 yup those were my exact symptoms. If your car is stick shift check the quibo That connects to the transmission or the one in the middle of the driveshaft. Both those tend to Crack and go bad and can lead to more vibrations
Was/is it your inner tie rod that was also bad? I just replaced my inner and outer tie rods and lower control arms and sway bar end link. But I still have vibrations which I'm sure are to the totally shot cv axle on the driver side.
My tie rods seemed fine, I could be wrong though, i just couldnt replecate the vibration even with the car lifted up. After the Axles It needed a new alignment from me dropping the subframe so many times from fixing oil leaks and new motor mounts and I beleive that was the slight vibration that was left after.
@Jay Dee someone bought the car off me as was before taking it in for alignment my bad. Is the vibration just one side? I also replaced the Guibo and prop shaft on driveshaft and I'd make sure your wheels are balanced.
3meansgo so far How has the axle been and Have you had any issues with that TRQ Brand? I’m planning on replacing my passenger axle, but with the price that you mentioned i might as well replace the driver side as well with the price that you paid for both axles.
The axle quality seemed good and I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. If your not launching the car all the time you should be fine, if not oem or upgrade.
Bro, i just bought a 2008 335i drive with x delete done by previous owner. and it has the same weird vibration during high speed. Imma try your way and see if it helps. Thanks!!!

Dope, I want to get my 335i back on the road just need to find time.
Yeaaa their amazing when they run. This one's been some work right away, just now tightening up the final problems.
Look out to change the spindle
Thanks for the recommendation!
Excellent video bro 💯
Appreciated 🙏💯
the vibration is probably your front drive shaft

@3meansgo sometime the u joints go, they stick
happened to me, took it to a shop and quoted me 1800$ for both front axles 😭
Man 😭😭😭 I'm sorry
These cars can get real expensive in maintenance quick!
THATS a scam holy cow

@@3meansgo Thanks I'm experiencing the same issue as @naders5 at very low parking lot speeds.
@Sunofsovereign have you checked out the passanger side motor mount? They tend to go bad especially if you have an aftermarket one that's not revshift

@@3meansgo So no more vibration after the alignment?

@@3meansgo thanks for that update. I’ll give it a try.
@datlyfestyl3905 yup sorry for the lagg, hope it works out
What kind of suspension set up are you running? Coil overs?
Car is currently on BC COILOVERS 👍
