I have a large horse brush-about this size, that was sent to me several years ago, but I was always afraid of using it for anything except calligraphy. I’m now using it for MANY different subjects. It doesn’t hold as much paint; but I don’t mind re-loading because it holds its point AND I have more control over the strokes.. I don’t think I need to call after rewatching this..the technique I spoke of used an under painting first, then peony strokes over the dried circle, with thick-thinner white… Going to go try your Dads method over my dried circles! Thank you!
