When I watched this video I was literally in tears, because of feeling trapped in constant pain. Just knowing someone totally gets it gives me hope to release myself from this vicious circle of pain which my neurologist seem to dismiss. 😥
Thank you very very much. ⚘

Pain is a significant and under-recognized issue for many people with Parkinson's. It can be easy for people, even some providers, to notice only the overtly visible parts of Parkinson's, and this is a mistake. We try to highlight this aspect of Parkinson's to work against this tendency.

I have pain in my left thigh two years before my diagnosis of Parkinson and I continue to live with this pain. I have been attending physio but not working. Amytriplin calms the pain a bit but pain is always there

Thanks for your comment. Pain can be so hard to work through. We hope that you and your physio can make adjustments and lessen your pain. If reach a plateau and stop making progress, you might consider working with someone new. Sometimes a fresh perspective can help!

Can intense painful flares in legs be a case of dystonia?

I'm trying to find out the source of my excruciating leg pain episodes
It hits in my thighs to where after a solid day or two , I'm struggling to walk or just function period.
I have rheumatoid arthritis Sjogren's Syndrome and Fibromyalgia on top of my Parkinson's. It's been over 7 years of no answers from either my rheumatologist or my neurologist
I'm getting closer to age 60 and I'm so worried how much longer I can not only stand these painful storms but also the long time I've been on opiods.

This is a fascinating subject for me. I suffer from curling toe pain so I’m trying to find a way that I can minimize it.
