(Who wouldn't want that ?)heh human beings... so from now you and a lot of others are waiting for this technology to use it in killing and destroying (ok at least you will also use it to clean your own habitat and territory from that you destroyed), how pathetic and disgusting..
This is going to sound crazy, but if you layer the song "This is How it Goes" by Joseph Jacobs (like in another tab) over this video, the laser's pitch is the root note of the main chords. It amplifies the satisfaction imo
When watch these Laser cleaning videos it looks like something from a SciFi movie. Like the technology you would expect to see on a space dock, cleaning / decontamination =-)
Different materials absorb light of different wavelengths, while simply reflecting and scattering others. For example, an object that appears blue is simply reflecting blue wavelengths, while absorbing other (visible) wavelengths. Objects that appear white *reflect all* visible incoming light, while objects that appear black *absorb all* visible incoming light. This is why, for example, black shirts get a lot warmer when in direct sunlight, as apposed to white shirts. This laser has been tuned to a specific wavelength where oxides (such as rust) absorb the light, heating them up so violently that they evaporate. Metals, paper, human skin, and so on, simply reflect the light while not taking any damage.
Wish there was more information about this amazing tool. Like, can it be rented, does the finished product need to be cleaned. Also curious about the material that was removed. Does it disintegrate, fall to the ground, vaporize......
Got a feeling that a psychology test is required of anyone looking to check-out that thing, because if you ever seen someone look into the beam of a flashlight or a laser-pointer, wondering how bright it is--Well... need I say more?
Anyone know much about these? I have a question. Light is fairly good at retaining it's energy thjrough air so I'd assume that if you accidentally have the beam go off the surface it could cause major damage, like a sandblaster. I've never seen it happen in any of these videos so I could definitely be wrong. Input?
For this particular project the laser is extreme overkill. The fireplace could be cleaned as effectively and much more cheaply by crushed glass grit blasting.
How about a laser robot that strips the paint off the exterior of a house? It would be like a window cleaning robot that used vacuum suction to adhere to vertical surfaces!
wonderful invention, hope somebody make a cheap & effective version of it in the near future.
Set phasers to clean.
that is true :)
Fuzzball Gaming Lmao
Fuzzball Gaming I enjoy your streams
Fuzzball Gaming LOL
I guess you could say the metal wasn't PHASED at all
Ah!! This could save my wife a fortune in make-up remover
Steve Steves your comment deserves more attention.
Steve Steves - Dude, if your wife finds this you're done.
Steve Steves you said that out loud
I may save on toilet paper too, this thing eats everything that is brown of color... GG
May save on the refugee crisis too in that case
I love the crest of Cthulu in the middle of the design.
afrosheenix it's a fleur de lys.
Looks better than any sandblasting, and a lot cleaner.
Michael Bradley and less abrasive to the actual material
This is oddly satisfying
No it's not! he does the exact opposite of every move I wanted him to. Every time he turns direction I cringed!!
Are you a licensed cleaning laser operator? If not, then it doesn't matter what "move" you wanted him to make.
don't feed the troll, dumbass.
John Klatt Who are you, Red Ford?
I'll take that as a compliment.
All of a sudden I need one of these .
How does one apply to be a rust obliterater technician?
The temptation to say "feel the Force Luke!" must be strong! :)
That is one of the coolest things I have ever seen!
i could watch this all day
Excellent invention greatly reduces the manual labor congratulations again.
I don't know why, but I could watch this for hours!
It's frickin LASERS people! We have arrived! Now I want my flying car...
DREAM ! ON ;! DREAM ON ;! DREAM ; ON !! DREAM ! ON !! DREAM ON !! DREAM ON !!! DREAM ON !! DREAM ON !!! KEEP DREAMING ! ON !!
love the sounds.
Are they at Harbor Freight yet?
reminds me of my time as a young ensign, lasering barnacles off the hull of the uss enterprise
BillCosbyEatsBabies I wish.
dude, always raise shields when warping through the Squid Nebula
wow actual star trek fans here? i guess this video has summoned us.
wow actual star trek fans here? i guess this video has summoned us.
As the entire power grid fails and the city falls into darkness, a solitary building has a strange glow emanating through the windows.
That thing is the bomb! I need one so badly!
Perfect!!!!! Fast.. quick clean...and safe our budget!!
This is just incredible! I love technology
So in the near future we will have laser guns that not only can destroy anything but also cleans anything you destroyed. Who wouldn't want that?
So in the 2070s there will be a serial killer known as Mr Clean?
nice
It's a well-known fact that the Spartan Laser was invented for laser eye surgery. Multiple uses.
(Who wouldn't want that ?)heh human beings... so from now you and a lot of others are waiting for this technology to use it in killing and destroying (ok at least you will also use it to clean your own habitat
and territory from that you destroyed), how pathetic and disgusting..
Robert
Future? It’s here. You JUST watched the video genius.
when the trigger is pulled the lights dim somewhere in a small town.
This is the best job ever.
My cats will love this.
I don't think I'd ever get bored if that were my job.
Actually, It would get dull rather quickly.
@@fredfry5100 That depends on your focus span and your interest in lasers.
I want that job so badly, I could do that all day.
This works wonders for heavy gage steel and iron but how would it work for removing rust from automobile body metals???
but...but where does it go? just burns off? no dust no residue? Thats amazing.
Don't think the cat would chase that laser up the wall !!
where can i get one of these or rent one? awesome for car rust!
This is going to sound crazy, but if you layer the song "This is How it Goes" by Joseph Jacobs (like in another tab) over this video, the laser's pitch is the root note of the main chords. It amplifies the satisfaction imo
For once, I'm not complaining about YT's wacky recommendations.
This is the coolest thing EVER!
BUT LOOK AT THAT FIREPLACE😍😍😍
This is an example that we're really living in the future.
Who ya gonna call? P-LASER!!
glad to see master chief can find work
What about cleaning masterpieces of art? Could you create a setting to do that?
cool and everything but where can I buy 1 ?
not that I could go out and pick one up, but how expensive are one of those things
Future of laser weapons.
is it cost effective?
cool . i'm satisfied by this video
LaserCleanerChannel - you've got my sub
IS THIS THE FUTURE MARTY?!
It's like a futuristic pressure washer!!!
So satisfying!
Looks interesting. How do you think it would work on Teak?? How long is that cord? Would need a cord about 100 feet long.
amazing. no dust mask, how crazy can you be
+Phil Adams looks like it's got a vacuum hose that sucks the rust away, but, you're right, it wouldn't be bad to have one on.
I've seen a stronger laser like this. You might want to invest in a big boy 1000W laser before posting next time. Thanks for the great upload!
Weeee. Ray gun! I want one so bad.
When watch these Laser cleaning videos it looks like something from a SciFi movie.
Like the technology you would expect to see on a space dock, cleaning / decontamination =-)
Why are there two hoses coming from the machine?
The web site says mould removal? Is that on just steel, or like wood studs, flooring and dry wall and/or concrete?
Can someone with knowledge explain how the laser is removing rust but not overheating the metal underneath, or razing it atleast a bit?

damn. I feel like primitive. Cant keep up with tech lol.
I still wouldn't want to stick by hand under that beam.
VedTraed Thanks!
Doom2pro
Haha. Especially if you had some rust on it. 🤦🏾♂️
Thank god it's eco-friendly.
This is every man's dream..
Where can i get one of these beautiful things.
For example here: www.focus-fireplaces.com/
How much the price of the machine and where get it
Wish there was more information about this amazing tool. Like, can it be rented, does the finished product need to be cleaned. Also curious about the material that was removed. Does it disintegrate, fall to the ground, vaporize......
Pretty trick guess you would want to test it on a finger does it work on all metals?
***** Thank you.
@Paranoia oxygen is a core component of conflagurations so it being literally atomically bonded to the rust is probably why the rust vaporizes.
Fichissima... Ma dove la trovo? E quanto costa?
Please give me the information of laser . Where i can buy 🙏🙏🙏
how hot does the surface get
So fricken efficient........will this thingy work on Baby-puppies???????
So satisfying
I would like to give that a try.
Hi....How to get a contact with the producer of this laser cleaning device ?
I wonder what the part of the beam that missed the metal did to whatever it hit...
This doesn't damage the skin so if a body part were to get in the way you'd be safe, only works on metals
Where did u even get it!?!?!?!
I like it’s sound, it’s like Alian ship of movies
The native sound of a Laser sword.😊
Got a feeling that a psychology test is required of anyone looking to check-out that thing, because if you ever seen someone look into the beam of a flashlight or a laser-pointer, wondering how bright it is--Well... need I say more?
IQ test to check if the guy is part of the "Two Digit IQ Club"... need I say more?
it's like ASMR except you are there for the looks instead of the sounds
How much does it cost and where can I get one?
I wonder how much that thing costs to run?
What happens to the rust? does it fall off or just burns up? How much does this cost? Where can you get one from?
Guess they are coming to Harbor Freight in 2017, I heard they will be $249.95 !
He really rustored that
Hi there what is the cost of this machine
amazing technology.
thank God it's eco friendly
Does the surface gets hot?
HOW DOES IT DISTINGUISH RUST FROM THE METAL? HOW MUCH OF THE METAL IS DESTROYED?
Just barely touching the inside black area where creosote is it lights up! Would be handy to clean chimneys!
Wow ive never seen this! I see he has goggles but what about the face/hands/body? It wont laser remove hair?
Anyone know much about these? I have a question. satisfying video
CAN YOU USE THIS TO REMOVE PAINT ON CARS TOO?
Yes
This thing reminds me of the ZX-1, "egg gun" from The Fifth Element. Probably doesn't self-destruct though.
For this particular project the laser is extreme overkill. The fireplace could be cleaned as effectively and much more cheaply by crushed glass grit blasting.
what kind of metal is it?
How about a laser robot that strips the paint off the exterior of a house? It would be like a window cleaning robot that used vacuum suction to adhere to vertical surfaces!
is it Ktulhu in a frame?
What toxic metal fumes are giving off during the cleaning though?
Good morning, I saw video and I was interested in the equipment, could you tell me how much it costs ??? thank you
50K-70K....Depending on Model.
I would pay to do this job. :)
My paper is due in 4 hours, yet here I am.
Other than the cost of the Laser cleaner, is there any consumable expense to these? Laser tips, filaments etc..?
the thing you hold is rated for 10000 hours of use. i forget what burns out but its replaceable. your only other expense is powering this beast.
it uses less than your typical hair dryer
1000 watts is the laser output. it takes much more to run the machine
I can't find amperage but it uses a 3 phase 480 volt input. and the power cord looks to be at least a 30 amp cord...

does it oxidise after treatment if in a high humidity ?
It makes laser saber sounds
