Correction: the actual Speedrun power up ability in return to Dreamland is the hawk Kirby, not the tornado, I think you should bump up the wing ability. Also I would argue sand is the strongest since its pound attack is as strong as the hammer, the castle is one of the hugest attacks in the game and hiding is broken against the bosses. The top Speedrun for the arena uses sand as well.
Bruh, water has the largest range, safest attack moves in the game. It is one of the most OP abilities! Ninja is also incredibly powerful, with some of the highest DPS in the game as well as many safe moves. The only weakness is that it doesn't have any upwards attacks. I also think Needle is MUCH better than suggested in this list, since you can launch spikes in all directions, dealing decent damage to enemies and bosses. This is one of the most versatile projectile abilities in the game, though not the strongest.
Hey 1upBinge, I think it would be cool if you did if Sonic Characters were pokemon, then what types would they be and what movesets they would have. for example I imagine Sonic would have high speed stats. Tails would be flying type and have flying moves. Knuckles would be fighting and ground type with fighting type moves and dig. etc.
I really think tornado is the best ability in this game. It gives you invincibility while you attack and with it you can breeze through the true arena. So I disagree.
Tornado is brain dead but I wouldn't say it's the best. Wing is better at clearing levels and is the best ability in the game for speedruns of the story, and multiple abilities like sand are better for the arena. You also have mech which is basically just Wing lite. Tornado is still one of the best, but I wouldn't say its THE best. You have to factor in that speed is a variable as well, and the cooldown and rough control of Tornado really affects how quickly you can beat bosses or clear levels.

Return to dreamland is my favorite Kirby game and I have replayed it to death, so I think I have a pretty good understanding of the game and physics and stuff.
Wait! I take it back! There’s already a weak to powerful ranking at the end of Doom II when you beat the final boss, so I guess there’s not really a need for a 1upBinge Weak to Powerful for those games.

Well I did use the wing ability to defeat Magolor soul it did take me a couple tries but I did manage to succeed
