- Muhammad Iqbal is also known as the Spiritual father of Pakistan. He is allegedly believed to be the first exponent of the idea of the two-nation theory. But researching deep into this belief the reality seems incomprehensible. In this video, you will learn about the life of Iqbal and his thoughts. He was a remarkable poet whose poem 'Sare Jahan Se Accha Hindustan Hamara' is very dear to every patriotic Indian. if he has done his P.hd from LMU university munich which is in germany in 1908 , then how he came back to india from england in 1908.
Iqbal got himself registered as an advance student in the Cambridge University. He wrote a dissertation for this degree. He submitted the same dissertation with a few modifications in the Munich University of Germany. He was awarded Ph.D. on this research.
More details: March 7, Development of Metaphysics in Persia submitted as dissertation for Bachelors degree (subsequently granted on June 13); April 1, meets Attiya Fyzee in London; July (around 20th), arrives in Germany and stays at Heidelberg to prepare for viva voce on his dissertation submitted at the University of Munich for PhD.
In short: Basically he developed his thesis for bachelore degree in Cambridge University. and Same thesis he developed more and submitted in LMU within 6 months. Dont't compare Phd of that time with today's context (i.e.five years of Phd)

People might think of him as a creator of two nations theory but I as an admirer and follower of him see it way differently...two nations theory was proposed by Sayed Ahmad Khan in 1867 and Iqbal in 1930 brought a two state solution for the conflicts in the form of making a Muslim state in North Western India. It would be more precise if you say it this way.

He didn't found two nations theory it was established gradually by different leaders i. E Muslim leaders in subcontinent one of them was Iqbal and SirSyed eho also wanted to be United until at some point he found out Muslims and hindus can't live together peacefully!

There are three stages of Nafs according to islam.. First he's very angry and fill of fire Nafs e Ammara, then nafs e Lawwama when he's confused and questioning things then Nafs e mutmainna satisfied state
