These are fantastic cards! I ended up only needing 28 of the floral cards for church. They were enjoyed! I have a variety of floral steel rule dies. I layered the petals (mixing and matching at will), and used a couple sizes of styluses to give them dimension. Steel rule die cut leaves went underneath. I was quite happy with them. They didn't match, had different sentiments, and served the purpose I wanted them to. They helped create happiness
I love all of these cards very much. They are vibrant and joyful! Very clever using a die cut as a stencil. The cards' simplicity adds to their charm. Thanks for a great new-to-me idea. I've never made a square card...Yet!🌷🌷
I make tons of birthday cards for children in an orphanage, and shapes are my friends! You have provided me with some. New ideas for making these cards! Thank you!
Ardyth, you are soooo talented, artistic and a big inspiration to me (fellow Canadian from Wpg). I love watching your videos and have tried quite a few of your techniques (with my own twists) and am now obsessed with the elegance of 4.25" square cards. I especially love the simplicity and clean look of your card designs. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us.
Thank you so much 😀 I was born in Winnipeg! Thanks for watching - and I'm glad I've converted you to my square format - we just have to convince the rest of the world! LOL!
I thoroughly enjoyed this video! Someone gave me two sets of stamps, one with odd kind of circles, and the other has odd kind of squares like yours. Now I know how to use them! Many thanks -stay well:-)
OMG Ardyth….OMG. WOW!!! Your Card ideas are Beyond Brilliant and a whole lot Ingenious!! Oh Yes my dear my so in jaw dropping awe right now……I mean these dies are shapes I use all the time (I’m a die hard scrapper and sometimes I do create cards and to watching your creative process and seeing your visions come to life!! Everyone of your cards are breathtaking and Stunningly Gorgeous!! I happened to come across you this morning as I was scrolling thru the you tube channels and the title of your video intrigued me…..so I clicked and YOU SO MADE MY DAY!!! YES I subscribed and hot that bell!! thanks for your Outstanding Tutorial and sharing your Tremendously Terrific Tips, Tricks & Techniques!!!! YOU SO ROCK!!!! Joan Smitj
I use a paint edger pad to clean stamps. It has soft white bristles that get into all the little spots. It is about 4 by 6 inches, plastic backed and flexible so I don’t even bother to adhere it to a block. When it gets dirty I just clean it under the tap! I have one for washing and one for drying.
What a great idea! I have several of those in a "painting supplies" drawer (house painting) and never even looked at the silly painting pad for anything other than it's primary use. Thanks for posting the suggestion.
I made a stamp scrubber out of one of those edge brushes you can buy in the hardware store (when you need to paint right up against a cornice). I cut it into a circle shape and glued it to the underside of a glass coffee jar lid, and on the other side I glued some felt. So now I have a tool that allows me to press down onto my stamping platform on one side, and it cleans my stamps on the other. Takes up less space.
Love the trick you used on the circle dies by alternating your ink pads to create an amazing eye catching result! Such an easy tip I’ve never thought of and works so so well! Thank you
Ok...Artist mind OFFICIALLY BLOWN🥰 The simplicity, yet stunning results you acheived makes me gitty with excitement🤭 when I think of possibilities that are just waiting for me in all those basic shaped dies...Did I tell ya....I loved this video? Lol
I just found you and OMG, you are brilliant! I’ve been struggling to come up with mass produce Christmas card design and you have just helped me! Thank you!
@@ardyth lol not yet… lots of ideas scripted, but nothing filmed. Just got our house on the market 2 days ago and got my hubby back after about a month apart. Hoping for routine to come back soon 🤣
Love the simplicity of these, Ardyth. I need to do something like this. It may mean that my Christmas cards will get finished and delivered on time for a change! (But hey, we've all got a gimmick!)
LOL! I have gotten a good head start on my personal Christmas cards, but my church Christmas cards are lagging. Hoping to fix that soon! Thanks for watching!
Yay! Then all you need is an alphabet die set to make JOY, NOEL, MERRY etc and you're good to go for Christmas with limited Christmas supplies! Thanks for watching!
Wow, what a awesome techniques you share today!! I love all the cards you’ve made and I definitely am going to try them out for my Christmas cards. Thank you for another great tutorial. P.S. I think it’s great you stuck with the Christmas theme this month, so many wonderful ideas…
Hi, I love the cirraborations! Lots of goid ideas. Ardyth, would you pleade tell me why you put aluminum foil underneath the card stock when you heatemboss
It's my own little invention. It means I don't have to hold onto the piece of cardstock that I'm trying to emboss, and I think the foil reflects back the heat for more even melting without as much warping. I've been doing it that way for years! Thanks so much for watching!
I've added them to the supply list. They are made by Altenew. Thanks for watching! • Small Ink Blending Set of 4, Altenew Tools --- ldli.co/e/g4070j [ Ellen Hutson ] --- ldli.co/e/0xoko4 [ Scrapbook.com ]

Apply some fray check , a sewing notion to the edges of your stamp cleaner, it should help seal any loose fuzzies in.
Ooh, I will check that out! Thanks so much!

For your stamp scrubby, can you take a lighter to the edges to fuse the loose edge hairs? That might help the shedding! Hugs! Ally.
