I did this a while back on my Gen1 Raptor and it needed a few more parts to make everything work for a 2014 model.
The F250 mod was a easy to install and kicks ass!!!

Does your F250 have Adaptive Cruise? if so, does it still work with the Raptor wheel?
@@christhomas1384 Mine does not however yours should work as long as you swap over your control button packs to the new Raptor Steering Wheel. I swapped mine over so I wouldn’t have issues with the new steering wheel because the buttons were different.
I'm glad I'm not the only one that gets pissed and curses at nuts and bolts when they don't cooperate.

Man I love your videos. You sound like me installing stuff 😂. I noticed on my lariat with adaptive cruise. The buttons on the left wouldn’t work so I had to change over all the wiring harnesses from steering wheel to steering wheel.

Installed this on my gas 2019 super duty about 6 weeks ago. I have an STX so wanted leather steering wheel. I don't manually shift it much but do enjoy using it to lock out gears when pulling the trailer.. Which I do a lot... Because I bought a gasser :). Oh, Colt, I bought two sets of those 1 gauge cables with Anderson connectors built in. Going to wait till it cools down to install them though.

i wonder if its possible to do this with a 2021/22 f150 steering wheel with the newer style steering wheel. i watch a tear down video and the only difference i saw was the air bag plug look different and the center bolt had a different head. i think the newer steering wheels look sick!
So mine has adaptive steering...So I guess this won't work. What other options do I have to get a better steering wheel? I use to have a platinum and loved the steering wheel. If not the raptor, are there other great options to get a nicer leather wheel? Thanks for the vids. I am learning a ton!!!

My 2018 has sport mode. Have you tried it in that mode? Just turn off the TC and push the TC button twice fast. It will say sport mode if you have it.

Dang I have adaptive cruise so won't work for me I wonder if there's a padel shift option for trucks with it.
I said that part wrong. If you have adaptive cruise you can use it, just not adaptive steering. If you click the link for the harness it will say that as well. 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸
If my truck has the lane keep assist system, which vibrates the wheel when drifting out of your lane, will I keep that feature with the new raptor wheel? Anyone know?!

I just installed mine. For some reason if you start removing the air bag from the right side first it is easier hell, I don't know why. I tried the same thing Colt did and had the same pain in the butt issue when working on the left side first.

If you have a platinum like I do, mines also a 17, it will not fit. There is more electronics inside and a electronic clock spring. I bought the same wheel and harness, sucks.
Is the wiring harness specifically for the paddle shifters? Do you need it if you will not be utilizing the paddles?
