    This is an EP I've been working on for the past few months. Its been hard trying to write and produce my own material while also balancing my touring schedule. Regardless, I'm very proud of how these songs turned out. I really enjoy producing, and I think that working with other bands and musicians to create music is such an amazing adventure. So I use my own material as practice to improve my producing/mixing abilities. This way, I actually have something to bring to the table when put into a situation that involves a group of people.
    0:00 - Titan
    6:17 - Perspective
    11:11 - Dreamer
    16:20 - Pariah (feat. Nicholas Llerandi)
    As always, the guitars are 'programmed' in these songs. I say programmed, but really they're just the product of a lot of editing... I play and record my own samples using an actual guitar/bass guitar. I then arrange these samples to form riffs and progressions. Some parts I've actually started to play, but this doesn't mean I can play guitar at all... Everything is still heavily edited with the guitars when it comes down to it. Sometimes I'll even play something slower, and then I'll speed it up to actual song tempo! The process is similar to programming drums, except I remove the middle man (midi/software sampler)... hahaha!
    I want to mention that the backing vocals on 'Dreamer' were done by Lukas Guyader, Stephanie Pickard, and my self.
    'Titan' is available for free download on my Bandcamp page. It will also be available on iTunes in the near future.

    I've been a drummer for 7 years now and I'm self taught and I just wanna say that setup you have, the triangular formation is the most amazing thing over ever seen truly unique and designed for speed you sir are one truly amazing artist keep making this music and I will support you.

    • @hoyholyhoy
      @hoyholyhoy 10 лет назад +10

      Well that setup was really made popular by Travis Orbin but that's irrelevant I suppose, they're both incredible drummers!

      hoyholyhoy Hey man! Thanks a lot for the kind words! The left floor tom was something I added to my setup just to push my left side more. It lets you think about fills a bit differently too.

    • @chrnocrusader21
      @chrnocrusader21 10 лет назад +5

      Seriously though like that speed you got because of the formation is something I picked up from seeing you play I've never seen that until I saw your setup and I can finally get the speed I need to push myself further now really great full I found your page awesome stuff and for that comment earlier I do realize your not the first to use that setup but your the first I've seen on it and it's awesome.

      @myspacecomaffwj 10 лет назад +6

      It was made popular by Tony Williams when he first started adding pieces to his traditional jazz setup in the late 60s & 70s.
      It was usually a small or medium tom although.

    Idea for a concert lineup:
    Anup Sastry
    Animals as Leaders
    Chimp Spanner
    Cloudkicker
    No headliner.
    All set up at once, all alternating or even learning some of one another's songs and jamming together like a fucking supergroup.
    Anyone?
