Manure separation by Slootsmid

December 10, 2018 - Separating of manure of cattle into liquid and solid fraction. This is done by contractor Almen-Harfsen at "de Volmer" organic dairy.
The machine of Slootsmid contains six FAN separators and is electrically driven by a 138 kVa Massey Ferguson generator.
The manure is blended before by the Renault 461 tractor and Holaras slurry mixer.
The MB-Trac 900 tractor with forage wagen transports the solid fraction to the dungheap, where the Schaeff 823 wheelloader arranges the solid manure.
The liquid fraction goes to another slurry pit.
