Making Patches appear in the cathedral takes some memorization, To make him appear, you have to open the door to the cathedral entrance BEFORE you go to rosaria chamber via the roof shortcut AND ( i don't know if it's necessary) raise both bridges). Then he will appear disguised as Siegward where the bridge to rosaria is, then you know the drill. A funny detail is that if you kill the giants before he triggers the trap, he will curse at you several times. Oh, and don't talk with siegward in the well when you are at it. Or Patches won't appear. Once he pranks you, you take the roof shortcut, and you will find him again, he will apologize and you can buy Siegward equipment right there or later in the Shrine. You can also go to rosaria Bed chamber after talking to him , teleport to Firelink, and have him prank you again in the tower.
Considering they aren't hollowed, I assume they either aren't doing usurpation of fire (age of dark, gets Yuria and pale shade), haven't died enough times yet, removed the hollowing after getting 5 dark sigils, or equipt an illusory ring.
I found an alternate way to kill the knights before the boss room (with the one who is sitting first). Go to the rafters of suicide (as you call them) and shot some arrows at the guys. enough so they jump from the platform to get to you (which they can't). Now make your way to the bridge after killing all the magot people. From there you have a good spot to hit the knights with arrows that give decent enough damage. 50 arrows are more than enough for that. Only thing you have to take care of is walking back to one of the stairs and the back to the bridge, so the knights reposition themself to the spot you can hit them ;)
Way better than last episode. Also if you dont use bow & arrow you can go back up to the balcony that lead into the cathedral when the giant is standing up. He will then smack the balcony and you can stab his hands after evading. If you have a weapon with a lunge attack you can actually savespot the spiderthing in the doorway

Entering rosaria's covenant will make leonhard questline progreed, but sirris questline will fail because sirris will be hostile w u, so, finish sirris questline before getting rosaria's covenant
The rafters of suicide has to be the MOST annoying place in the cathedral as I tried to fight and kill all the enemies there. Turns out fighting your opponents with a sword on a tightrope is a horrible idea, dodging is out of the question and it's a fucking pain to get back up there every time you fall off and die
С Лоскутиком можно было попроще сделать: вместо шагов 9:30 - 11:30 можно было сразу приступить к убийству гиганта, пройти дальше, открыть главные двери собора и сразу встречай Лоскутика возле моста. Он спавнится и мост поднимается пока ты открываешь двери. В итоге когда он тебя опускает ты идешь по короткому пути к костру и начинаешь шаги с 9:30, оказываешься как раз там где будет Лоскутик, убиваешь только червяка с посохом и там на месте проделываешь все что нужно с Лоскутиком. Единственное, что гоп-стоп позу не получишь от такого метода без всех шагов в Храме Огня.

I struggled myself, whether I should show the encounter in the cathedral, or stick to the guide principles and show how people can find Patches if they missed him in the cathedral, because you know, the majoruty of gamers (including me) have misxed that encounter because of it's illogical placement (sorry for my poor englkish)

I just recently replayed the h*ll of Farron keep and thinking about how you do your videos, it'll probably be better to do two parts. the swamp itself can be broken into 3 parts, the front part with the sage's coal, the back part with the crab, and that freaking slug army that hides the undead bone shard, and of course basilisk h*ll (I've beaten the game 5 times and that area still gives me nightmares). The second vid would be the old wolf area and all that beauty, the section after the giant door, including the crystal lizard king or whatever they're called, and the last bit up to and including the boss of the area. Obviously, it's your video, this is just my thoughts on the next one.
I've heard it before in the sound settings menu in Deathtrap Dungeon, on PS1 (although the PC version has different levels, I think it also uses the same sounds for the sound menu). Guy on a torture rack makes that sound when you're adjusting the SFX volume.

Я уже 6 раз игру прошел, и ни разу не смог его встретить в храме, делал все по гайду на вики ... он тупо не появляется после открытия врат ...
