    The world needs to be cared for and who better to do that than people who have been caring for the world for millenia? If we all took the time to listen to indigenous people and learn from them, the world coudl be a better place. I respect the words of indigenous people because they listen to the needs of our earth and I love our earth. It's time we respect the knowledge of indigenous people and respect our earth. Sustainable agriculture, support of the natural ecosystems, and waste reduction can go a long way to help the only world we know. Thank ou for this very good topic.

    The ignorant and hateful comments made here mean that the writers of those comments didn’t listen to the message. From, « the speaker isn’t as moving as other speakers » to « woke politics » wow - you really didn’t hear the message. There are indigenous guardians out there helping to heal not only the Earth from trauma but human bodies from trauma - that’s HUGE. When we treat the Earth like we wish to be treated, the Earth will take care of us. And I DO hope people WAKE UP. These Earth Guardians are helping us indirectly, whether or not you realize it and appreciate it. Your resistance to positive change and your ignorant comments will not stop people from doing what’s right and moving humanity forward. Have a healthy and peaceful New Year.

      I didn't see hateful messages. I guess they were so bad that they were removed. Growing up in Canada, unfortunately I'm not surprised by the hatred and ignorance against Indigenous People. It's very sad that every Indigenous Person in this country has been affected by the Residential School System which took away their families, culture and their message of respecting the Earth. They are continued to be blamed for what happened. Now non-Indigenous are trying to use Indigenous culture to help the Earth and heal themselves but call it something else and try to profit off of it. It's disgusting. I hope all Indigenous People through out the world can find healing and a way back to their cultures.

    I could not agree with you more. I have always held a great respect for indigenous communities and empowering these people who already hold such a deep respect and understanding of our life support system makes so much sense. Who is funding this critical work? I would love to support a similar program globally before this deep knowledge is lost. Thank you for your critical work.

    Every culture in human history has this story in their culture. Obviously when you're primitive and your entire existence depends upon crops, weather, sun, etc etc. That's where this "mother" term comes from and the Father is the Sun. The moon controls the tides etc, maybe they're having a threesome or something. Look taking care of the planet is common sense and all ancient cultures knew this. The issue is money. Always has been always will be. Get rid of money completely and the competitive drive to be more and have more than everybody else and humanity and the Earth will naturally fix itself. God bless!!!

    Capitalism is killing our planet, our environment. I hope we are able to get to a point where we can turn the land back over to the indigenous stewards and help them (maybe not reverse because the damage unfortunately has already been done) but start taking much better care of her. For all of our sakes, too.

    What do you mean when you say "what is now known as Canada?" If you care for each other why are the cities being flooded with unemployable indigenous people. Why did the native population explode by 40% since 2012? Please show us the land you have sustained more than anyone else in Canada. Why do you support the Ekati open pit diamond mine that works collaboratively with Indigenous leaders? You lash out at every Canadian as colonialists and settlers yet you take our money by the billions per month. Your hatred of anyone outside your circle is astonishing.

    • @sushreeniharika8633
      @sushreeniharika8633 Год назад

      I will share my experience with you. Indigenous people in my country have job reservations in the government but you see many of them can't avail primary schooling at the least because of their homes in extremely remote locations. The money that the government provides for the development is usually hoarded by non indigenous leaders in those areas. The funding does not really go to them.
      The business owners and industry houses are the ones who got their first and just decided to take away their land without their consent. They were instead beaten up and harassed when they revolted. They cut down the forests that was their home and gave them food. Hence, they have to leave their native homelands and migrate to big cities looking for a penny. Well, obviously they experienced the city people coming and snatching everything away they had, taking their basic rights away Hance violating them. Now do you expect them to not have hate towards us? They cannot differentiate between normal city people and exploitative business owners, just like you can't differentiate between indigenous people who hate us and others who truly want us to learn their rare and pure passed down knowledge about nature and are doing some real work in saving the environment

    • @chapleau007
      @chapleau007 8 месяцев назад

      Before colonialism, no one owned land, we merely borrowed and occupied it seasonally and in harmony with all life on earth. When the govt decided to bring their systems to Canada to 'teach' natives "how to survive", even though they've BEEN surviving for over 12 thousand years in some of the harshest climates ever... then the govt stole their children, their purpose, their traditional practices and languages were made illegal.. not to mentioned all the sexual and physical assault on innocent children... adults literally beat the beauty and confidence out of entire generations of children and people.. and now you ask why the cities are filled with unemployable indigenous people? If you understand the history, you will better understand the people who continue to live with these traumas today. PS.. there are over 600 First Nation communities in Canada, so when one decides to work with industry, doesn't mean WE ALL DID, people seem to think that Canada is ONE BIG RESERVE... well it's not.... PSS no one take billions from you.. the govt make billions from irresponsibly extracting resources all from under your feet.. resources that are meant to sustain all life on earth. The fact that you're hearing hatred from this video and speech is concerning...
