Thank you for this. I have my first programming gig coming up next week. I've been watching non stop and have felt alot more comfortable over the last few days. Unfortunately I dont have a Visualizer, so I have to wait till we have everything in the air(4 days before said event).
Hello, for some reason the only thing that wouldn't work for me was the hue saturation effect. tried several times. Does anyone have any ideas that can help me with that because id love to use those...
Hi Jesse - an excellent question. We tried to keep season 1 as simple as possible - but we're going to dive into scenes in the next season. Stay tuned!
While busking its it possible, instead of all the lights in the group coming on all at once, have them come in as a fan and where the intensity isn't snapping with each press?
It's a year later, you've probably solved this. But I ain't no Hog expert and without your file in front of me i'm going to assume you mean the hard buttons set to flash at the bottom of each fader. Open up the faders cuelist (Hog + a button of the fader I think) and try setting a fade in and out time to the cue. If that doesn't work in the same cuelist you could try setting 0 dimmer cue before the 100%, and setting the 2nd cue to follow, then adjust your times and fade to what looks good. These come with a comprimise that you'll probably not get a hard cut effect at all. Otherwise If you want the best of both words I litterally 'ride' the physical fader itself if I'm busking a precise intensity path and the flash for a hard cut.
@@RocketShipTM101 On re-reading I think I more get what you mean, which is more of a chase effect which is covered in the second season of videos, I think perhaps the last one will give you exactly what you're asking for. Then if you mix it with the info I gave you you can create a fader intensity than fades on the fixtures one by one in a fanned effect.

Awesome! Quick question though, since all your cuelists only had one cue, why didn’t you use the scene directory?

@@CounterNormal ohh okay I didn’t figure it out but thanks I’ll try this out. I just want to create a intensity bump. With the button at the bottom.
