Ricky was absolutely correct about David Hoot's incorrect explanation on why NASCAR Black Flagged him. I was thinking the same thing as Hoots was explaining it on the DJD podcast. Ricky was issued a white flag not a black flag and there was a speeding pit road penalty in place by 1991. Ricky definitely was robbed a victory at Sonoma that year. It doesn't matter anymore I guess.

Ricky would've been (and still can be) a great race announcer, back in the day I would've never viewed him in that role.
