    Lamy is exceptionally lucky to have found such a passionate, caring store manager with the art of retailing flowing through her veins. Really fun to watch.

    I liked it because of her great passion that she talks about Lamy, the video was short and the presentation of the shop by Ms. Kristina, Store Manager. Excellent., I was interested in this pens brand.

    Wow, love Christina the store manager. She expresses so much passion and knowledge about Lamy pens and their philosophy. Really enjoyed the tour, and that flagship Lamy store in Heidelburg will be high on my list if I ever visit Germany.

    She is an amazing and awesome lady. Her smile goes through the hole person. Her passion about lamy and her job makes her so sweet. Her english is awesome and she knows all about the company. I hope Lamy is proud of her. I love the way she say yessss... In germany we say "Berufung" . She found her Berufung. Germanys companys need more Kristina's.

    In October 2019 I took a Rhine River cruise, which had a stop in Heidelberg. After touring the castle and stopping at the square, our tour guide asked for questions. The first question was from me: Can you point me to the Lamy store? 😁

    When I went to school in Germany in the 1970s we didn't have Lamy fountain pens. We either used Pelikan or Geha pens.

    • @marcorothley6039
      @marcorothley6039 10 месяцев назад

      In the 80s we also had usually Pelikan (I had one at least), I think many Gehas as well, but the Lamy was also frequently used. I had the impression it was rather owned by children of richer parents...

    Fantastic video! I travel to Germany about once a year and often wondered what the buzz was about Lamy. My German friends told me this was a very popular brand. I had no idea it was this popular! I bought my first one several years ago and now have accumulated many since. I cannot wait to visit this store! Kristina's enthusiasm is contagious!

    🙏Thank you for sharing this amazing Video. Even I like my 2 Kaweco's,and i dont have any LAMY Fountain Pen,this Video helped me much, the Manager Kristina is such a lovely Person on the right "Point". She is a good seller who i would want to meet in every store where i go. The Way how is she "in to it" is lovely.I know that is her Job, but i think she should "get" from "me" kind Comment because she did good Job in this Interview. I would love to spent time Journaling in the Lamy Store.When others can draw there 😇 And i m sure, i would buy there my first Pen for sure. Hello from Slovakia. I hope, i can come some time.✒️👀🖋️

    I was actually close to getting a Lamy Imporium, but I heard that they mixed plastic with metal threads in the cap as well as in the barrel. Also people said that the cap tends to cross thread... That’s why I‘ll get the regular 2000 ;)

      I got myself a Studio lately. Round grip section and I like the look, but I can still use all my Safari-nibs with it. But then again, I also like a triangular section, too.

  • @hmApollo101

    If you really think about it, a Safari with a gold nib is actually pretty smart, since no one would expect the gold nib. Avoid getting it stolen.

    I like Lamy writing instruments and ink products but, unfortunately it’s not available anywhere in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Besides, I heat every time I search for something Amazon jumps in middle. I hope to see Lamy store in western cost at Jeddah. If it happens it would be a great joy.

    Please suggest me - - Lamy Safari with Gold Nib vs Lamy Studio with Gold Nib vs Lamy 2000 is the best option for College Students?

    • @GoldspotPens
      @GoldspotPens  5 лет назад +5

      Well, obviously you're looking for a premium writing experience with a gold nib. Do you usually write a lot by hand (over an hour per day, for example) and could use a higher ink capacity? If so, I'd opt for the 2000, as it has a comfortable balance and a piston-filling mechanism. If you like a heavier weighted pen, the Studio would be the way to go. If you're looking for the least expensive, a Safari with the gold nib would be your best option.

    be nice if customers could contact Lamy.
    I'm interested in getting some Lamy ink - cartridge or bottle. But ONLY if it is at least water resistant. I would prefer waterproof and chemical/fraud resistant, and it can't be an eye searing blue/red/green after two or three lines.
    Invisible to a photo copier would be an added bonus.
