Thanks for this mate, I did it last week on my 330ci and it took the washers from not working at all to working fully. I thought that the larger filter was grubby but the smaller one was rancid! To anyone planning to follow this I’d make sure you cover every single point in the video. An old toothbrush attached to a stick using parcel tape with a bit of bend in it also works very well for scrubbing out the reservoir. Especially the bits down around where the smaller filter is.
Thank you , I’ve had this issue for several weeks , finally had to address it and was about to order new pumps off amazon ! Came across your vid , and o yeah washer bottle filter totally clogged ! Cleaned and fixed 👍🏻
Been putting this off for too long - I better get my arse in gear and sort mine out now before the weather gets even more shiite. Thanks for the video!
Thank you for this! Removed and cleaned the reservoir, but couldn’t find the filter, just s black plug. Cleaned the black plug and that was the filter! It was so clogged it just looked like a plastic plug. All sorted and windscreen washers work fine now. Thank you very much!
Nice vid, my problem is my bottle is half full of horrible cloudy fluid that just messes up my windscreen I bet the filter is so gammy, I need to get the fluid out but holding the washers on would take too long and possibly clog the lines and I'm sure i'll just flood my engine bay trying to take the bottle out lol any suggestions anyone?
Probably done it by now but, siphon it, don't need to worry about the last 750ml or so, just be careful lifting it out. If you spill a bit it goes straight down to the ground anyway.
Wow hadn’t looked at this in years, was going to delete this as I’m changing my channel content, but if it’s helping a few then I’ll leave it up! :)
Brillaint a DIY vid with clear comentary without stupid background music and repeated use of the daft RUclips phrase GO RIGHT AHEAD.....AND ....

Thank you. Great video. Clear, concise and informative! Just what I needed to sort the same issue on my 2005 330ci! Cheers Chris!
Thank-you Sir
Thanks mate. I wish I can keep my car's engine compartment as neat as yours.

Hello there, thank you for posting this. Followed this and I have gone from no water coming out, to 100% working again. Very much appreciated.

ine looked very much the same, glad it helped. have you had issues since?
thanks both of my pump filters where full of slime, now working as intended
Good video mate. 👍
I get this on mine, after replacing the jets and it still keeps slowing to a dribble - might be the filters?
are the front bump and tthe back pump same pump ?
From what I remember I think so... check the part numbers. An E46 forum may be able to help more.
