At 70 I have broken capillaries, some age spots and, of course, some wrinkles. I have great success with moisturizing lightly, using a bit of concealer in trouble spots and then applying the LG baked foundation. Sometimes the flawless look achieved with liquid or cream foundation is just too "made up" and exaggerates wrinkles. For me, the baked foundation improves the skin, while still looking like skin - not matte, but also not glowy. And I agree, the LG baked blush is wonderful!
Great video! I just ordered this in the same color and haven’t received it yet. I noticed your skin color looks like mine and I was worried the light would be too dark for me. This makes me feel better. It’s very pretty on you. I may try the full coverage next time too.
Thanks for posting. I just ordered from Laura Geller and had the same thoughts about the medium to light coverage and got the full coverage. I will be using my full coverage concealer as well. I have terrible under eye circles from allergies. It's visible above my eyes in the crease.
Love Laura Geller products! ❤ I use the real techniques matte beauty sponge (the teal one) to apply the balance and brighten, it's meant to be used dry and I use a patting motion. I also apply concealer before applying the powder foundation.
Hi there if you were to use just a tiny bit more product but more specifically if you use the It Cosmetics heavenly luxe buffing foundation brush with this, it would look amazing on you and give you way great coverage ... the product is good but it really has to have a specific tool that works well. Lastly I'll tell you that that brush works good with liquid foundations also! That is probably my favorite brush with everything and I think it's on sale on their website for 28 bucks right now... I have two or three of them and I'm thinking of getting another. Anyway, thanks for your video! PS I got the Baked DoubleTake first because the Balance and Brighten Balance and Glow were on back order in my shade and boy do I despise that makeup (and I'm 55 with pretty good looking skin) but that stuff made every fine line and wrinkle just come out, exponentially.... I'm watching your other video on the double take now so I'll see what you thought of it but good luck to you in any case!
@@lc3940 yeah I tried double baked I hated it. Didn't go well on my skin. Just trust me on The Heavenly Luxe buffing. Try it. I have many kabukis they're just not the same. Also if you haven't already tried the viral Tirtir, that is a MUST Hands down best foundation EVER.
@@tialumakeup7073 , it is effective for a lighter coverage, which Laura said it was designed for. More of a natural look. She has a more densely packed brush for a fuller coverage..
You need your bring the camera lower for cinematic to work. You need to be the focus not your background. I can’t see anything of your makeup being so far away.

Hi Connie! I agree. foundation can be so tricky as we age. I think I want to try the full coverage LG next. I really like her products.
At 75, recently discovered Laura Geller. Delighted with quality. Especially the baked items.

@StayGold_Michele I'm curious what the difference is between buffing brush and kabuki brush? Did you ever try double baked?

I love LG products and I have mature skin
@morlaschultz1193 LG really does make good ones! I have a new video going up on this Saturday testing more LG products. ❤
How soft is the brushes?
The brush is really nice. It’s soft but not too soft that it’s not effective with the powder.
