Ma'am, I'm 57 now, and, tried for my endorsement test 30 years ago. Missed it by 1 question. I have to say that I am glad I missed getting it back then because there was SO much I didn't know that I didn't know! Now, trying for it, I MUST take the MSF course, there's no conversation about that point! I've got 30 years of maturity "under my belt" now so I can take the MSF course with a higher level of confidence to successfully achieve my getting the endorsement with my head screwed on correctly. Every tip you presented was absolutely spot on! Keep up the information presentation and encourage women to go for it, it's NOT " a man's only" way to travel! Doug
With 50k miles and two years you have graduated from novice to experienced rider. And Wow! You have done this is a very short amount of time. Kudos to passing the knowledge, experience and desire on to the next generation of would be riders.
Looks like you are a night owl as well as two wheeled enthusiast. I'm up past my bed time... Gotta fire up the Sportster and go to work in the morning. Keep the shiny side up!
Lady you are on it. Awesome info sharing with us. You could be a great instructor for all. Yes for sure, all that you laid out on in tips and knowledge for getting ready to ride and do the ride with that strength of the "Attitude of Gratitude". Thank you & Happy Trails Make it home safe always😊😎😉
@@travelinman482 for me, knowing that my bike is maintained makes me feel more confident that I am not likely to encounter problems when riding, especially alone. It is just one of the things that helped me conquer my fears.
This video is so helpful. I have an Iron 883 Sportster, and I’m getting more comfortable riding after being somewhat fearful. I chose this bike because of the look and size- easier for me to control. Just curious, what thought process did you use to select your bike? Research, suggestion from dealer?
Hi Robin. I did some research online, visited multiple motorcycle dealerships and sat on lots of bikes. I chose the Sport Glide for the same reasons you chose the Iron 883. I am 5’6” with moderately long legs, so for me, the size of the Sport Glide is very comfortable to ride and easy to control. I was also comfortable that the engine would have enough power that once I was comfortable riding highway speeds, I would not have to trade it in. I really wanted a bike that would grow with me. The bags and fairing are both removable; so, I was able to reduce the profile of the bike making it smaller and a little easier to handle while I was learning.
@@ShesShiftingGears , I love the color of your bike! I’m active military, and orange is our regimental color 😀 I test drove a Softail Slim, but the handlebars were more like ape hangers, and the power scared me 😳 I’ve been watching some other folks with Sporters make modifications for longer distance riding, so hopefully one day I’ll be able to get some miles under my belt 😂 I just have to work on getting comfortable at higher speeds.
@@Live_Inspired_Style thank you for your service! I love orange, too. I have a friend who rides his sportster everywhere he just tries to avoid main interstates preferring state highways on most long-distance rides. A windshield helps!
Exactly! I was on a 21 day trip during the record heatwave this past summer crossing desserts and then climbing into cooler climates on in the Rocky Mountains-that is when I was really burning oil.
You are going to do great in the class! The struggle is real! Occasionally, I’ve seen plus size gear that has been discontinued for sale on Revzilla, but that’s about it.
Well said! I loved it all, but above all the "ride your own ride".
EXCELLENT ADVICE! Definitely, that should be #1
Everything you said about coming from half helmet to full helmet.... So relatable.
Hey Vidit! It’s nice to be understood-thanks for watching.

How does checking my oil or tyre pressure help one get over their fear of riding?

Great tips 👍👊
Thank you ✨
I did this course 2 days on qualifying day it started to pour but I passed now that's riding
Congratulations! That’s a great accomplishment in the rain!
Excellent video
Thank you! 😊
Very thorough video! Why do you have to add oil so often do motorcycles often leak?
It’s more that they sometimes burn oil. Modern Harley’s don’t leak oil like the old ones. Lol

Thank you! That means a lot to me that you liked it 💗😊✨🍾☀️🏍🌞🥳
I just started riding and been practicing everyday wait on my MSF class in June. However finding women's plus size gear is nearly impossible
