I'm from Serbia, I know Strahinja Pavlovic very well, his a great modern style defender, he has speed, ball control and he's a good as a playmaker. Signing him would be the best deal for Milan
Morata is a very well formed and educated footballer that has been in some of the best teams and won some serious trophies. Just look at his stats over so many years, he's pretty good like it or not.
The people you see complaining on social media are the loud minority. Most true Milan fans will appreciate the grind. The team will improve. Also, Fonseca focusing on individual and game like defensive strategies with this team is much needed. Seems like he will be placing them on the right track.

I understand where you are coming from. Living in Italy being milanista for close to 30 years now I experienced the good days of this club and what it used to stand for (success and philosophy wise). The last couple of years Milan’s management team is the ugly sister of what it used to be. I don’t agree with your point on the impact of financial sustainability of a FOOTBALL CLUB. Yes they are also corporates. However, their main task is to play FOOTBALL AND TO WIN!!!!!!!!!! Look at Inter, PSG, Barca, etc. they don’t give two sh*ts on their financials, but they win!
Fans have to believe in Cardinale, he is an amazing businessman but Rome was not built in a day and he is creating a system for success. For us to be able to spend more we have to make more and also people forget but Burlasconi was the one who bought television rights in Italy that aired many serie A games just like what Cardinale is doing. Gerry is right, the price of good players is way too high. Its not economically feasible to just spend 200 million dollars a transfer window and not have a way to recoup those funds or even profit. So once his systems are all built, Milan won’t lose for a while

I believe the owners have done an overall good job but it’s the highlights that actually affects the fan base. 1. Fired club legend Maldini. 2. Selling Tonali who was fan favourite due to his passion. 3. Defeats to Inter However I would like to focus on the positives, which are many. 1. Tonali sale improved the overall team, people don’t realise that the team is better than the team in title season. 2. Developing U23, one of the most overlooked part, it not only lets us develop youngsters but also take some low risk high reward signings, and makes it easy for players coming off from injury. 3. Building a stadium, this is yet to be realised but if this is done thing tops this, with this we can finally make those big money buys. It all depends on whether you find relief in looking at positives or ranting about negatives.

Morata with +10 goals last 2 seasons in athletico Madrid. Keeping the same production (I say very likely) and we really should be happy. Leao, pulisic, Jovic and additional contributions from RLC, Chuk, okafor. I think this is a good business. I hope they have patience to develop Camada and solve the striker problem for long term. I am not sure if Tammy Abraham is a good choice. I do not think he will be cheap and Roma probably won’t loan him to another Serie A team. Hard to believe they cannot offload him back to premier league (if it is a loan).

Any action of theirs needs to be seen from the prism of whether it leads Milan to elite stature - the top 5 clubs in Europe - in quick time. Currently, it is 22nd as per the latest UEFA rankings. Elliott did the repair job well and handed it over to RedBird who have - a) fired Maldini (not just one word but a universe of positive actions), b) continued with Pioli for a season too many playing utterly insipid football, c) who loses out on intended targets frequently and eventually settling for Plan B & C, d) who build a team of good (not great) footballers with little chemistry in-between (which takes 2-3 years to develop, e) who hire a good but not great coach like Fonseca, f) who are satisfied with losing to Inter regularly, coming in the top 4 every year and construct a 50,000 capacity stadium. I hope you realize how Milan fits in RedBird Sporting Universe - Cardinale gave a detailed interview to FT recently - have a read. He is not interested in anything else besides a significant bump in Milan valuation which can be achieved without (and I emphasize, WITHOUT) 'exceptional' sporting results. He hired Ibra (for RedBird and not for Milan) so that he gets away from the firing line. As a fan who loves Maldini, I am utterly disgusted with RedBird and Milan Leadership based on what Maldini has alleged in his interviews and also based on what I have seen of Furlani, Moncada, Scaroni. Having said all of this, my position is not fixated. Anyone can make mistakes and so can Cardinale. So far, I have not seen ANYTHING to indicate that the club's future is super exciting as it should be. Morata and Tammy + Jovic sounds like a decent enough forward and I feel Alvaro is there to fill Giroud´s departure, the seasoned striker with years of experience that can come in a clutch when is needed, with Tammy is a gamble, before the nasty injury he was a rather solid striker for Roma, if he manages to get into that form, we could have a REALLY good striker for the team. I have seen so much anger in the comment section from Milan fans on different platforms and it is all about mocking milan for being profitable and still not spending 50-60 million. Then there are comments saying the club is a joke and terrible. I mean i dont know what these people are thinking because their words do not match up with where the club was and now is. I am thinking these are either bots, rival fans or kids who are looking to rage bait. Then there is the obvious chance people can be weak willed enough to be angry because Maldini is no longer the sporting director and gary was the reason for this. I dont know what to say to that other than milan having a really good summer trnasfer window last year, but what is true is that the magament is looking naive. Man United signed Zerkzee and they arent paying 15 million in agent commisisons but they are paying a slightly higher transfer fee. I dont know what the benefit this is to the agent. The management better make this transfer window worthwhile.there is a need for 5-6 players again and these player are mostly going to be starters. 2 strikers, a CDM, CB and a backup LB then also getting a RB, but that seemed to have cooled off.

I think Milan are involved in a lot of rumors as part of their strategy. Keeps the clubs they are dealing with on edge to know that Milan aren't all in on their player and they have options if the other club doesn't move towards their price. Thiaw was better than expected at first and then too much was put on him all at once. He's a solid player with good upside. I'm high on both Thiaw/Gabbia as overall talents but do think we will need a legit starter beside Tomori.

The problem with your discussion of the club’s current condition is that all of the hard work to bring success, stars, and good finances was done by Elliot, Maldini, and Massara. This new management and ownership are happy with mediocrity. They are piggybacking off of the work that the old ownership did and are not amitious to take us to the next level like Maldini wanted to do.
It is just frustrating… this ownership wasn’t as bad as the Chinese but do not call this last season a success. We were humiliated in every competition we played in. Second place after losing the scudetto at home to your rivals celebrating the second star by a long distance ahead of us is a humiliation. Derby defeats and Roma loss were awful. Sure you can blame the coach, but when this management had the chance to bring in a winner they got Fonseca, a yes man with a mediocre resume at best. No disrespect to him I wish him the best but as of now that’s the reality. Sure if these guys build a stadium, do innovative brand deals, and hopefully reform Serie A through paramount then good. But at the end of the day results matter. Last year they only spent because they sold a player. This summer it seems like they won’t invest much more than 50 million total after reports said we should have a budget of 100 mil without sales. They are not ambitious.
I'd agree with your comment if the owner had been there for a decade but since they've only had 2 full seasons and 1 summer market on their own terms, it is premature to write them off. That's my point. Not that they are above criticism but that we need to give them time. Maldini's Milan missed the UCL in it's first 2 seasons because it takes time to get to the next level.

I believe the owners have done an overall good job but it’s the highlights that actually affects the fan base.
1. Fired club legend Maldini.
2. Selling Tonali who was fan favourite due to his passion.
3. Defeats to Inter
However I would like to focus on the positives, which are many.
1. Tonali sale improved the overall team, people don’t realise that the team is better than the team in title season.
2. Developing U23, one of the most overlooked part, it not only lets us develop youngsters but also take some low risk high reward signings, and makes it easy for players coming off from injury.
3. Building a stadium, this is yet to be realised but if this is done thing tops this, with this we can finally make those big money buys.

Leao, pulisic, Jovic and additional contributions from RLC, Chuk, okafor. I think this is a good business. I hope they have patience to develop Camada and solve the striker problem for long term. I am not sure if Tammy Abraham is a good choice. I do not think he will be cheap and Roma probably won’t loan him to another Serie A team. Hard to believe they cannot offload him back to premier league (if it is a loan).

Hi Kush, disagree about your stance related to the management. Any action of theirs needs to be seen from the prism of whether it leads Milan to elite stature - the top 5 clubs in Europe - in quick time. Currently, it is 22nd as per the latest UEFA rankings. Elliott did the repair job well and handed it over to RedBird who have - a) fired Maldini (not just one word but a universe of positive actions), b) continued with Pioli for a season too many playing utterly insipid football, c) who loses out on intended targets frequently and eventually settling for Plan B & C, d) who build a team of good (not great) footballers with little chemistry in-between (which takes 2-3 years to develop, e) who hire a good but not great coach like Fonseca, f) who are satisfied with losing to Inter regularly, coming in the top 4 every year and construct a 50,000 capacity stadium. I hope you realize how Milan fits in RedBird Sporting Universe - Cardinale gave a detailed interview to FT recently - have a read. He is not interested in anything else besides a significant bump in Milan valuation which can be achieved without (and I emphasize, WITHOUT) 'exceptional' sporting results. He hired Ibra (for RedBird and not for Milan) so that he gets away from the firing line.
As a fan who loves Maldini, I am utterly disgusted with RedBird and Milan Leadership based on what Maldini has alleged in his interviews and also based on what I have seen of Furlani, Moncada, Scaroni. Having said all of this, my position is not fixated. Anyone can make mistakes and so can Cardinale. So far, I have not seen ANYTHING to indicate that the club's future is super exciting as it should be. I am not interested in seeing Milan qualifying for CL every season and even coming 2nd in Serie A - the quality in the league is mediocre besides Inter. Financial Balance was achieved by Elliott and Sporting Balance was achieved by Maldini & Massara. The team has regressed since both of them have left.
Morata and Tammy + Jovic sounds like a decent enough forward and I feel Alvaro is there to fill Giroud´s departure, the seasoned striker with years of experience that can come in a clutch when is needed, with Tammy is a gamble, before the nasty injury he was a rather solid striker for Roma, if he manages to get into that form, we could have a REALLY good striker for the team. Plus, that Ex-Chelsea player formula has been working good so far xD

I think Milan are involved in a lot of rumors as part of their strategy. Keeps the clubs they are dealing with on edge to know that Milan aren't all in on their player and they have options if the other club doesn't move towards their price.
Thiaw was better than expected at first and then too much was put on him all at once. He's a solid player with good upside. I'm high on both Thiaw/Gabbia as overall talents but do think we will need a legit starter beside Tomori.

The problem with your discussion of the club’s current condition is that all of the hard work to bring success, stars, and good finances was done by Elliot, Maldini, and Massara. This new management and ownership are happy with mediocrity. They are piggybacking off of the work that the old ownership did and are not amitious to take us to the next level like Maldini wanted to do.
It is just frustrating… this ownership wasn’t as bad as the Chinese but do not call this last season a success. We were humiliated in every competition we played in. Second place after losing the scudetto at home to your rivals celebrating the second star by a long distance ahead of us is a humiliation. Derby defeats and Roma loss were awful. Sure you can blame the coach, but when this management had the chance to bring in a winner they got Fonseca, a yes man with a mediocre resume at best. No disrespect to him I wish him the best but as of now that’s the reality. Sure if these guys build a stadium, do innovative brand deals, and hopefully reform Serie A through paramount then good. But at the end of the day results matter. Last year they only spent because they sold a player. This summer it seems like they won’t invest much more than 50 million total after reports said we should have a budget of 100 mil without sales. They are not ambitious.

I think there is a mix of reasons why people are hating on the management but I do agree that it’s exaggerated, but I see how they killed the “emotional” side of the club since Maldini left and the club is run like a real business.
