when i saw the trailer, i thought this movie would just be a dumber version of saw, the cube, etc. it was VERY good. exceeded all my expectations. if you’re on the fence about seeing this, just do it. you won’t regret it.

Basketball 2334 but in this specific snippet it shows how one of the characters dies... not something someone really would want spoiled to them
This movie was beyond amazing. So tense and thrilling, literally my favourite all time movie. Definitely worth watching, not predictable in any way.

I saw an early screening of it today. The ending kind of sucks, but it didn’t ruin the movie too much for me. It had a great story, cast, production design, and direction. They had a LOT of creativity designing these rooms and puzzles. I recommend seeing it and getting an opinion on it yourself. Definitely better than what you’d expect from a January release. Lol
Little1Cave endings don’t tend to ruin a whole movie for me, so I’ll definitely be checking it out (:

Brady Beatz I went to an early screening. I work at an escape room company and we seem to be doing cross-promotional stuff with the studio. We got free tickets to see the movie early. It was definitely a first for me. Lol
Yeah, like the other person said, it deserves more credit. It’s not as obvious as that seems and while the trailer seems to show a lot it doesn’t give things away completely

I never watched horror movies that much, but this is a 10/10. You really got to catch your heart rate in order to finish this movie, the ending will leave you something you never saw coming.

I had to write a review of the movie for my class. Here you go. i hope it helped ya.
A handful of people. Strangers to each other. Each receive a strange box, containing a note inviting them to join a new and exciting escape room. The room is located in a boring and abandoned office building in Chicago. The winner of this escape attempt would receive a reward of no less than 10,000 dollars. Those players have an ear for that! Participants included shy college student Zoe, grocery store worker Ben, veteran Amanda, obese Mike, nerdy gamer Danny, and arrogant stockbroker Jason. Completely different characters, whose weaknesses will be exploited considerably, but will the strengths of each of them dominate? Well, you have to watch the movie to find out what happens.
Although the subject is very familiar, director Adam Robitel manages to provide the viewer with an amusing, entertaining and at times, really exciting horror print. It never becomes really high-quality cinema with a lot of content, but the film definitely does what it should do. Halfway through the story it also gets a bit more in-depth, which makes it all a bit more interesting in the end.
The atmosphere is very well-made in the film, you are, as it were, sucked into the film. You do feel sorry for the characters though, it’s kind of rough what they’re going through. The gamemaster literally knows everything about them, from their medical files to every detail of the trauma they have. The characters get challenged between life and death situations. They get pushed to think about their trauma situations and they know that there’s only one winner in this game. The characters first get locked in a room that’s like a giant oven, then they get trapped in the cold, then in an upside down room where the floor is falling down, literally. And 3 more rooms that get some of them killed. They know it’s not just a game anymore. I really didn’t expect that this movie was going to be this astonishing, but the way the atmosphere is made, is just unbelievable.
The movie Escape Room is not a bad horror thriller that makes you stare at the screen from the first second to the very last image. Adam Robitel, director of, among others, Insidious: The Last Key (2018) - undoubtedly delivers an amusing horror print that really entertains the viewer. The story may be kinda thin and the characters too transparent, but everything still seems to work. Only the acting gets into trouble several times, but that does not completely spoil the final product. To cut a long story short: Escape Room is a great horror print to watch once, no more, no less. The film is distributed by Sony Pictures and has been available on DVD and Blu-Ray since July 3, 2019.

Zoey and that blonde dude (forgot his name) win but when they book plane tickets (not going to say why, just go watch the movie to understand) the people who are behind the whole mastermind of the escape room planned out a way to make it so the plane would be an escape room with a 4% chance of survival, so its supposed to crash into a mountain if you cant find the clues and it just ends when they finish the test run of the escape room....... so i think there is going to be a sequel......

To me, basically Zoey said she found out coordinates of the actual organization that did the escape rooms. I think that they knew they were going to escape and probably know that they wanted to hunt them down and kill them and that they would know she would find out their true location. Zoey had a plane accident and her teacher wanted her to do something she was afraid of which is planes. So the organization is making the plane that they’re going on as another escape room, they just don’t know that it is one and they end up dying in the crash unless they solve it.

I feel like they thought a little too deep into the first one. The first guy didnt have to die.The red head wouldnt have died if they moved fast enough. The big guy didnt have to die either. The two guys could have shared the antidote. The girl was smart until she wanted to figure out who was behind it all. But they were meant to die so i guess.
