Here's a great exercise to develop the Bass Drum Slide Technique that you can use both for single and double strokes. As some of you might know, my method is to first of all educate the body to be able to execute the motions and then to apply them to the instrument. Thank you for this video James. You’re really really good! I have something that I hope you can help me with. I can’t help but lift my foot for the second stroke and there’s the sound of my shoe hitting the pedal board. How do I avoid this? I can’t seem to hit the second stroke without lifting my foot from the pedal board.
