I lived and studied in Nottingham for a year. I love this city and Nottingham Castle! I hope one day I will come back. Thank you for showing these lovely places in this video!
WOW - I am an American traveling from the United States and I can tell I am already in LOVE with this city!! Can't wait to visit and meet some of the locals!
I love Nottingham. Every time I go I discover something new but the greatest thing about the place is Hockley and the Lace Market, the shops and cafes cater to and are used by not just students and young people but by everyone, including us oldies! For such a small city it packs a mean punch....and the trams are so useful!
I was a student in Nottingham in the early 1970s and was impressed by the spacious and beautiful campus. This was in the days before the trams but I have been back since and gone for a ride on one. I also managed to get to the Trent Bridge cricket ground for a day during a test match.
A great video! I was born between Derby and Nottingham, and lived there during my early years. Although small in area compared with the well known cities further north it has always been vibrant, offered good facilities, and is light years more attractive than its sister Derby. There is also much happening immediately outside its boundary, particularly for those into sport - golf, sailing, angling etc. A good place for students? Most certainly, with its university being a real one, and with a great history. But as far as holiday camps go there is no beach or pier.
I was born in Radcliffe and my paternal grandparents lived in Nottingham just off Canal Street. I went to the Becket School, but chose to do my master's at a 'new' university (Sussex) and began my doctorate at Harvard and continued at UCL. It was thought 'unfashionable' to go to the same high school and university.
Beautiful city...i was there for one n half year...my girl was born in queens medical centre...visited most of the places in and around Nottingham...miss you Nottingham...love from INDIA
Hi, there is a nice showcase walloton park on next weekend, where people can enjoy science in so many funny ways. This called science in the park.... Batman has so many innovative tools and you could have a view in the first line about a cartoon nd really, you can see the cartoon makes real
