I saw Leo about 45-50 years ago in a small room at U of U, was amazing back then! Almost learned "The Fisherman" which is the hardest song I've ever tackled...
I would love to see Leo live, but he seems to only tour in the US, but I guess with Covid he’d be crazy to come to Europe! And he’s soooo entertaining! Love his stories!
ANDY!!!! Thanks so much for this - the definitive document of the bearded Kottke era. An awesome performance from Kottke, beautifully captured by you! Will definitely have to keep coming back to this one... 👍
Great work. Covered 50 years and Gawd knows how many keys. I was noticing how in tune that Taylor was, even for a Taylor. Leave it to Mr. Kottke to set the nut at 22 degrees.

KILLER!
Glad I dropped by. Thanks Andy!
Thanks Andy-good to see & hear Leo in any incarnation. What a talent!
I haven’t heard the tunes in this medley in 30 years, they sound good! Thanks for saving them for us.
Just saw him last week! Great show with the droll stories and amazing guitar work. He is a master and has perfected his old songs.
I have told people a hundred times over the years that I would pay the price of admission to hear his stories.
@@1952PAL True that, but his guitar does deserve some credit!
Beautiful

That's not the nut. That's a piece of foam he puts there to cut down on the string noise from behind the nut.
Would love to see Leo one more time . . . but he isn't coming anywhere near me . . . oh well. A great talent and funny guy.
Same here, Doc
Name of the first tune?
