The first public beach you will come across is just a few minutes away from the Ferry.
Aegina is one of the closest islands to Athens and is easily accessible as a short stay or even a day trip.
Ferry time from Piraeus - 70 minutes
Aegina is a large island with a large amount of religious significance with a number of large and impressive churches.
Aegina is also very famous for its delicious pistachios which have European protected status and can be found at many stalls and shops around the island.
