    What tools do you recommend for someone starting out in small engine repair? How do you advertise? How do you price a job? Also love the vids very helpful!

      For tools I recommend mostly harbor freight. Except for Screwdrivers side cutters and pliers. I would go with Klien for those. You can get them at home depot. I started with just fixing things I got for free until I became confident in my abilities. I charged 20/hr for repairs and slowly worked my way up to 40/hr. For delivery/mobile service I charge 3$/mile in addition to regular rate.

    What brand is your ultrasonic cleaner and we’re did you get it?

      It’s a 3 liter, I got it on Amazon. Not sure of brand, they probably all made in the same factory in China.

      I post on Facebook marketplace, Nextdoor.com and Craigslist. Eventually people get to know you and you get customers by word of mouth.

    For cleaning spark plugs I have a spark plug sand blaster, it works really good and is a lot easier than wire brushing. 👍🏻

    Everything is mostly fuel problem these days unless you use ethanol free fuel.
