  • I finally got out on the Kawasaki Ninja ZX9r for a good tyre stretch, was a bit slippery but still had good fun ride. I hope you enjoy the video, a bit windy but it was worse before editing the audio a bit.
    Thanks for watching 😊

      Just some extra seat time and you'd be there mate, I don't get out near as often as I'd like, so still room for improvement for me too.

    That's one fast ride, long time no see my friend. ☀️🤗 We having snow still but January is over already, at least it's not -20°C anymore. Waiting for spring! 🇬🇧 💝 🍻

      I would be able to cope with it being so cold and snowy, it's bad enough with the cold we get 😂 February is usually worse though 😁 roll on Spring!

    Hi mate. Was thinking about you, and I look and your back. Cool. Did a behatch of a seized oil filter change on mine today. Feels sweet though. Needs plugs next. Been a cold winter so she need some TLC

      Yea not been out in a quite a while, although I do still have some vids still to edit too. Done plugs on mine quite recently, fitted NGK Iridium plugs. Good luck getting yours ready for spring 👍

    Thanks

      Thanks Dave! Unfortunately mine is in pieces at the mo for head work, not too fun without a garage and living in a first floor flat, can't wait to be out again.
      The double bubble screen is from an Italian company, seems they don't sell them anymore although they are still on the site, maybe contact them.

    Nice bike mate. Pls do something with the wind noise..
    More intake or exhaust sound would be great, or even music..

    • @HalfdeadRider
      @HalfdeadRider  Год назад +1

      Cheers bud 👍
      This is the best you'll get in the first half, it's the speeds I was going as well as the wind, I edited the wind noise down in post too. Second half was gopro audio only, also edited to reduce the wind noise. Watch recent video to see what it's like at lower speeds.

    • @laz1go286
      @laz1go286 Год назад

      @@HalfdeadRider if you delete the sound file that the Gopro recorded and put a quality sound recorder under the pillion seat (which is quite easy on these 90s superbikes, with a ton of space there) and record the exhaust sound with almost no wind noise, then you can copy that on the media file and you'll have an awesome result. Similar what RJ has on his bikes.
      Of course you need to match the timing of the two files, so it's more work but the end result will be great.
      Just a suggestion..

    • @HalfdeadRider
      @HalfdeadRider  Год назад +1

      @@laz1go286 I normally vlog so my mic is always in my helmet, I use an external recorder so my audio is better than most, even some much larger motovloggers. As I said, it's just due to the speeds I was riding, it's not even all that bad.

    New sub. :) Hey, I gotta ask...why are the roads lined with hedges that block the view of what's ahead everywhere ?? I've noticed this in all vids from that area of the rock...narrow roads lined with hedges, and really no room to avoid anything. I'd be so sketched out....lol. Is there a reason for it ??

    • @HalfdeadRider
      @HalfdeadRider  Год назад +1

      Thanks mate 👍 It's most likely a couple of reasons, one to stop Deer crossing the roads, and also livestock on fields, you will notice some areas without fencing or hedges though. Obviously that's what we know so we are used to it, you'll have to try and come over some day to experience our roads for yourself. I'd love to go to the US some day but not likely to happen, I'd move there in a second if I could lol

    • @RandysRides
      @RandysRides Год назад +1

      @@HalfdeadRider Interesting. I'm from Canada..and those roadside view blocking hedges would be illegal. lol. All our roads have emergency shoulders to pull over on, along with 30 feet of roadside clearing for visibility....for the same reason as you described...seeing animals before it's too late.

    • @HalfdeadRider
      @HalfdeadRider  Год назад +1

      @@RandysRides Canada is nice too, but too cold lol
      A lot of our roads are cut through old farm land etc, some are old roads dating back hundreds of years (some much older, Roman times and older), just widened and tarmacked over sometime in the past 100+ years.
      Our motorways and dual carriageways are wider and do have 'hard shoulders' (emergency lanes), but boring to ride, but we do use them if we need to.

    • @RandysRides
      @RandysRides Год назад +1

      @@HalfdeadRider Cool, man. Thanks for the info. As for Canada being too cold, I agree. I've spent the last few months binge watching TV. But, in a few weeks it'll be riding season again. :) And geographically, I can throw a rock into the U.S.A. hahahaha !!

    • @HalfdeadRider
      @HalfdeadRider  Год назад +1

      @@RandysRides It's too cold here too, but I believe you get it worse than us, as long as it's pretty dry and above 5-6 degrees it's ok to get out on the bike with some extra layers and winter gear.
      It must be good being close to the border and being able to go on trips quite easily if you wanted to.

  • @reecewatson6225
    @reecewatson6225 Год назад +1

    Where did you get the part from to femove the H bracket from the handle bars? My bikes the c2 so was wondering if it was the same and if so do you have a link mate please?

    • @HalfdeadRider
      @HalfdeadRider  Год назад +1

      Unfortunately you can only do this with the E models using the bracket for the F models. To do it with the C models, you would need to convert the front end to the E/F model using the fairings and headlight and dials etc.

    • @reecewatson6225
      @reecewatson6225 Год назад +1

      @Halfdead Rider oh that sucks, is that H bracket only there to steady the mirrors, if so I wonder if it would be possible to fabricate somthing to convert it

    • @HalfdeadRider
      @HalfdeadRider  Год назад +1

      @@reecewatson6225 A good fabricator would be able to extend your current bracket for sure. It is there just to steady the mirrors.
