Fairytale was a pleasure to watch. For me it always worked as a stress buster, it was a fun watch. Farjaad and umeed's interactions were way too cute, they were just adorable. FT showed what a healthy husband-wife relationship looks like, the kind of family bond it showed was much needed. I loved the last part of the drama, farjad and umeed with farmeed...such a cute family. I literally had tears in my eyes, A huge thanks to the writer Sarah majeed, the way this drama was written, it tells how progressive and sensible the writer is. Kudos to the director Ali hassan as well, he brought rhe characters to life. Great job. All the actors performed very well, but ofcourse Hamza and Seher were made for farjad and umeed.
Such a refreshing review on Fairytale. As you said, it was a show that broke many stereotypes without being preachy and in your face. It was a breath of fresh air in a world of aggressive, toxic male leads and wimpy, bichari female leads and a miscontrued notion of love served as romance. The modern and progressive take on relationships and the growth and arc that was so realistically portrayed for Umeed and Farjaad, Sameer, Pasha Saab, Mimi, Haya....each one of them, was commendable. Their love blooming into parenthood was beautifully shown at the end. It was everything love is and should be, with all its flaws and beauty. And yes, Aamna, I hear you. I hope the off screen ship sails too, because god, they are so perfect together, it hurts.

Yes, fairy tale was so so so refreshing that after a hectic week we qere prepared to relax and we did without disappointment. It was a love, i feel it was a real nature of both of our main characters are the same that i why it look so real.......love their way it was executed...... Hope to see both of them as off screen couple. InshaAllah if Allah wills....... We would want to see only both of them as a couple,. But Allah is the one who makes couples, only our duas can change the destiny.so, all the best for both of them. Hoping to see both of them as a real couple

Fairy tale is the only show u watched with my 11 year old daughter. I want to appreciate that not only it was v pleasing aesthetically it sent out simple yet great messages like amna said.a good man who loves his mom wife and sister is ok to stay at his inlaws support them, praise his wife support with childcare and the families really don't hv to be toxic all the time.the couple gets their space to love each other and bond..

Fairytale was just fabulous! The messaging, the comedy, emotional moments all were very nicely balanced and were on Point! All the team did great work Sehar and Hamza has a very good chemistry indeed I hope we see them in more dramas... I was also thinking about their offscreen chemistry😅 and my wish is same as yours... But After Sajal and Ahad's divorce I'm scared of such on-screen couples who get married because they look good on-screen and people love to see them as couple they should make their decision wisely otherwise they will end up loosing the precious bond of friendship also...I hope everything goes well.

After faisal if there is one actor who actually does something different in each look is feroze. Matlb uski meer hadi ki shalwar kameez, basit se total different. Even AMK or KAM mn bhi different styke thy shalwar kameez k. Cardigons like he wore for basit and in wo aik pal. Then in ishqiya his dressing was totally different like a brat, uni guy. In Dil kia kare he was just like anyother decent boy woukd look with normal jeans and shirt, or Ts. His In gul e rana too he wore suits byt without coat. His looks were different. His hair and beard obviously. Even for musta he gauned weight. Then for habs he lost weight. I saw IPPA maybe where he said that he lost weight(before habs) and now he list it even more. Although now he looks bad. He really looks bad. But mist actors literally look same. Same Ts shoes or hair for multioke dramas. Feroze jo suits pehenta wo bhi bht different hoty hn luke you caj tell it ia nit the same character. He has that versatility. Even talking style in guk e rana was like a young guy who trolls and taunts. There is always a range in his anger, toxicity. Meer hadi was way different from Adeel. Even Mustajab's level of anger or toxicity was different. In habs his intensity level was different fron KAM3. We can say that his personal life is awful but he is one heck of an actor who never makes your bored. Havent watched khumar yet. Here i am to see the review. Gonna watch it for sure. looking good in a drama is compulsory for a actor instead of their acting skill to how they portray the character.... Now I found about Pakistan drama that a actor should be a good look stylish no matter how the acting is ... feroze is No need for good look in a drama as you can watch his drama kam3 his appearance on character was not makeup so much but he did his character justice without good look...
After your review i was watching Khumar, one observation you never mentioned Neelam Munir doesn’t look like younger sister of that boy addressing as Bhai. Neelam Munir is still the same expressionless keeping eyes wide open. Lol Aamna you are right about Feroz’s hair style
After many, many toxic dramas from Danish Taimoor this one actually kind of makes sense. They've shown you the emotional baggage the character comes with and the neglect he's experienced throughout his life. You know he was a drug addict and went into rehab and now he's back into university. He fell in love and now he's trying to avoid losing the one person who finds him important. He was rude and harsh but you can understand where the character is coming from. Does it make it ok? No. Does the writer help you understand why he's acting the way he is? Yes. And since the female lead is actually in love as well, it becomes more of an intense love story rather than the countless toxic hero glorifications we've seen in the past. But I do agree with Aamna; this is one too many dramas of the same realm for Danish Taimoor. Chand Tara was a huge relief, and he needs to do more calm and collected roles now
The only pak drama I was watching after tere bin was fairytale coz it was such a vibe, so lighthearted, just smiles n laughs no depressions like others ,will miss it ❤

I feel fortunate that for us SRK romance was there, but unfortunately this generation takes Danish Taimoor and Feroze "deewangi, possession" as THE romance. Yes, with Darr and Baazigar we root for SRK but we never idealized that. It always will be the Raj, Rahul and Arjun.
Khumar: I think Feroze’s styling looks awful because of his weight, he has lost a drastic weight. Also, I think he is not too much into styling because he apparently doesn’t like his parent’s black money.

Please starting in New Year I hope they stop making dramas showing crying or weak female leads even when they are educated. Also totally agree with you guys regarding giving Trigger warnings. I was so shocked seeing Daniah Taimoor shooting himself with a gun in Dek Khuda and Wahaj hurting himself in Fitoor. And my kids were around. Suicide is shown as only resort in most shows which is so dangerous to glamorize 🙏

Khumar OST is beautiful. Overall good drama but does give 80s vibes like Amir and Salman Khan long hair styles. And story is realistic in a way where one guy does not.confess his love in time

Khumar was started to be shot just past 2 & half months back. So that’s obvious he didn’t know this would be aired first! Don’t just pass statements like “smart move by feroze to comeback with a “good guy character”! Don’t make it sound like a clever move, fk delivers roles with too much contrast with his previous ones! It is production’s decision to decide when to air the drama right?

I was so shocked seeing Daniah Taimoor shooting himself with a gun in Dek Khuda and Wahaj hurting himself in Fitoor. And my kids were around. Suicide is shown as only resort in most shows which is so dangerous to glamorize 🙏

Khumar was started to be shot just past 2 & half months back. So that’s obvious he didn’t know this would be aired first! Don’t just pass statements like “smart move by feroze to comeback with a “good guy character”! Don’t make it sound like a clever move, fk delivers roles with too much contrast with his previous ones! It is production’s decision to decide when to air the drama right?

Honestly cant believe that you had anything positive to say about Khumar. Neelam's frozen face isnt nice to watch and sorry but Feroze by no means is looking like a college student. Namakharam: Mureed kidnapped the girl. Even though he brought her back, we cannot take Mureed as a hero. Please never glorify the character. Warna it ll be perceived okay to kidnap women to take revenge from someone.
In Jeevan Nagar it feels now that there is no hero in the drama. Babbar Shah was the "Hero" of the story and now it feels that there is no Savior.
