I would love to see a "Top 10" analysis from you on both Miriam Hopkins and Claire Trevor. Both were exceptional actresses, yet sadly, overlooked today.
Awwwwwwwwwww luv you too🥹🫶🏻 This list was pretty surprising and I LOVE it!! I’m so so happy the masterpiece The Good Earth made it! I know you, and I really expected Scarface to be your number one lol but ultimately you chose…wisely 😉 as for Juarez…J’accuse!!!! (Inside joke, y’all) but hey you were very nice to it regardless :) I love Bette in that role, I know, but I was absolutely THRILLED that you mentioned Bordertown! I love that movie so much! He definitely is the OG biopic king. Hate to say I’ve not seen Valiant yet but will ASAP. Last Angry Man deserved its spot too 😊😊 thumbs up!! Thanks friend 🫶🏻
Mnni, one of a few actors to receive an Oscar nomination in his first and last movie, only made 23 movies and was nominated 5 times as best actor, truly remarkable. Should have gotten a second nomination in the same year as fugitive for giving another excellent performance in Scarface. Muni is in a class by himself.
I've been watching a lot of Paul Muni movies lately so I can't believe I've stumbled upon this video! It was very well made and I've thoroughly enjoyed it.
Hello, a little error : Louis Pasteur never graduated as a doctor, he « only » was a chemist. He associated with Dr Émile Roux who applied his discoveries on patients because he was not allowed to deliver medical acts. Love this movie ! Greetings from France 🇫🇷
I need to watch Scarface and I Am A Fugitive From A Chain Gang Luise Rainer once named William Powell as her favorite leading man and she named Mr Muni as her least favorite leading man because he was quite difficult to work with. And even though his renown as an actor he was not well-liked in his profession with many people like Edward G Robinson John Huston claiming on record how self-centered unfriendly and unprofessional he was. After that I wonder if he could at least get along with Bette Davis as she hated unprofessional people
Paul Muni was an actors actor, whatever role he was in Paul Muni would disappear & be the character he was playing. Look at the contrast between his roles in "Scarface" & "I Am A Fugitive From A Chain Gang" in 1932 my 2 favorites. Pure genius it was early method acting.
My choice is fugitive is his best performance but, truly muni is so great in all his movies. Nobody remembers the 1932 best picture, cavalcade, because it doesn't hold a candle to fugitive, which is clearly the better film and should have won best picture.
Muni is sadly quite overlooked today. He had so many great movies. I think you made a really good list.

"The Woman I Love" with Miriam Hopkins is one of his best films.
